We loved our stay over the weekend at your Rising Fawn Cabin! The place is a dream come true! The view and the cabin is spectacular. We needed this weekend individually and as a family. From the time we hit the cabin door, you can feel the peacefulnes of God's grace and beauty. Thank you for sharing your home. We will be back with and without our kids! The top floor was the kids' and they loved it; all weekend! Can't say enough; we loved it!
We loved our weekend here. The view was beautiful; and the cabin was very comfortable, cozy, and clean. We loved having some family time in the game room upstairs. We definitely will be back.
A small quiet place which made a wonderful getaway for my husband and I. Tucked away just enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go get dinner or visit Chattanooga for the day! We would definitely consider staying here again!
The property is beautiful. When we arrived the cabin had not been cleaned. We arrived on Dec. 26th so maybe there was an issue with the cleaning crew and it being the day after Christmas. Regardless, the owner was super responsive and took great care of us in that unexpected situation. He offered to put us up in a B&B but since we arrived in the evening and have 2 small kiddos we opted to make the best of it. The cabin was fully cleaned the next day while we were out at the aquarium. One small concern is if you have very small kiddos or older adults then the steps up to the cabin may be precarious. They are stone steps that are slightly uneven. With that said, you're going to encounter steps and hills anytime you're renting a cabin in the mountains so that's not a surprise. We found the cabin to be perfect for our family of 4 which included my wife and I, our 3 year old, and our 18 month old. The youngest slept in a pack and play in the tv room. My wife, our 3 year old, and I actually all bunked in the bunk bed room upstairs. We did this because we were a little concerned about him possibly waking in the middle of the night and stumbling down the stairs. It actually turned out to be fun with all of us bunking in the same room. The property was 25-45 min from the typical sites around Chattanooga so we were able to go to the "Enchanted Garden" at Rock City, the aquarium, etc. We also took one afternoon to just stay in and went for a walk down the road to let the kiddos play in the leaves and get a little exercise. They had a great time just playing around the cabin. I could also see this cabin being a great place for adults to just get away to relax, read, unwind, unplug, and rest. I would consider coming back.
We were a group of 5 there for New Year's weekend. Booking was a breeze, the cabin was easy to find, check in was very easy, and check out was very easy. The owner was responsive and helpful. The view was amazing while we had it. The beds were comfy. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The drive to Chattanooga wasn't very far at all. We never did find the fireplace remote but we just turned it on manually and it was no problem. There were plenty of towels and soap for us. I would definitely come back.
My grandson loved his own tv room upstairs where he could watch all his movies The house was perfect for us four. beautiful views and you are at anything to do within just a few minutes will definitely go again loved it
Fantastic Cabin. Amazing views. Well appointed throughout. My family of five (three young boys) stayed for a few nights and it could not have been more perfect. Cloudland State Park is just down the road and all the other attractions are easily accessible by a short drive. A grocery store is right down the mountain in Trenton for supplies. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
Minutes from everything Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga have to offer. Hang gliding, Cloudland Canyon State Park, Canyon Grill are within 10 minutes of the cabin. Chattanooga's aquarium, riverfront, Ruby Falls, and Rock City are all within 30 minutes of the cabin. A short drive from Atlanta or Chattanooga make this a great getaway.
