About Pamela Ansell
Originally from New Zealand I moved to Melbourne with my husband and 4 children in 1998 I'm now a proud Grandmother of Alice and Tilly born 1 week apart. I've been married to Richard for nearly 40 years. Having spent many wonderful weekends in Daylesford we decided to move to Daylesford permanently 6 years ago. Prior to that I have been running accommodation in Daylesford for over 16 years. At one stage I had beds for 22 people in 2 cottages and at Chestnut Farmhouse. I love setting up accommodation for guests and being able to continue to do this in such a beautiful place is wonderful.
Pamela Ansell purchased this Cottage in 2004
Why Pamela Ansell chose Daylesford
Its private, quiet and tastefully renovated.
What makes this Cottage unique
Set in beautiful established gardens with so many places to sit and relax under the Chestnut trees. The cottage is warm and cosy with picture perfect views out to the gardens. Daylesford's Main Street is a short 5 minute drive away then come back to the quiet peacefulness of this country property away from the hustle and bustle of Daylesford's busy township.

We had such a wonderful relaxing stay at this gorgeous cottage. Everything was neat, clean and tidy. We loved being able to sit outside with a cup of tea and take in all the beautiful garden scenery and listen to the birds. This was just what we needed. Thank you!
Fabulous little getaway
Delightful cottage with every comfort taken care of. The fire was lit when we arrived which was great as it was cold. At the end of a road so no passing traffic. Beautiful and peaceful garden with birdlife. Would highly recommend. Thankyou Pam and Richard.
Extremely cozy and clean.
A Little Slice Of Heaven
We had a a very relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage. We appreciated all the extra special touches with the food and having the fire on when we arrived.
Our stay here was lovely. Nothing was needed as the property has everything. It was quiet and well appointed, homey and relaxing. The food provided, the open fire and the gorgeous beds made for a wonderful weekend away.
Fabulous place to stay
We just loved our stay here. Very picturesque and quiet, country feel but so close to town. Beautiful fireplace, with lots of wood supplied. It really exceeded our expectations. But it was the attention to details, and arriving to a cosy and warm cottage complete with roaring fire that was delightful. We want to stay again!!
