Fantastic outlook in a quaint and quiet location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights at White Beach Cottage and absolutely loved it. What a stunning outlook from the walls of windows straight to the water. We loved having the wood fire to keep us warm and there was plenty of wood and firelighters to keep us going throughout the stay. The RC air con was a good back up too. The kitchen was quite basic but generally well equipped including some provisions like spreads, spices, tea, coffee and more. Dining area was a good size. Fantastic library of DVD’s including a number of kids movies. Electric blankets and extra throw blankets on the beds were very welcomed! The back yard was a good area for the kids to explore. We used the laundry countless times and were thankful to have washing supplies provided too!

Only down sides are pretty standard of any accommodation...some sharp knives would have been good and a few more microwave dishes of a decent size too. But honestly We couldn’t fault our stay and would definitely recommend the cottage to others and would stay again ourselves if we are back in Tassie!

Property in a quite location with a perfect view.

Kitchen was very basic making it hard to cook a meal for 4 people.

Otherwise comfortable.

A clean warm and comfortable house to use as a base to see the beauty of the Tasman Peninsula . Wood heater worked well as did air conditioning.

House is good but no power for 3nights

  • 2 of 5

If there is any backup power available that would have made our trip enjoyable. Almost 3 nights there is no power and we had no clue when the power gona come even in tasnetwork sites.

For 2 nights we had no proper dinner because we came from outside and realised no power and everything closed in that area.

Adults managed but we have infant which made us bit worried.

Owner's Response: Dear Srikanth Reddy Dendi, I'm so sorry that your holiday corresponded with some of the worst weather that the area has seen for the last 30 years. You were fortunate that you were staying in a house that still had running water and a wood combustion fire (which you could have cooked on) two factors more than most people in the area did not have the luxury of for those 3 days.
