About the property

Blackwattle Bay Apartment is located in Cook Street, Glebe - just a short walk from Glebe Point Road. It has wifi and is air conditioned. The apartment is located in a security building with panoramic water and city views. The sunny and spacious living-dining room has a balcony overlooking Blackwattle Bay, a 42 inch flatscreen TV, and DVD and CD players.The apartment has timber floors and a modern kitchen with stainless steel electric stove, microwave oven, dish drawer and refrigerator. There are two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and a refurbished bathroom with bath. There is a second TV in the main bedroom. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine, drier, iron and ironing board. There is also a lock-up garage.

The apartment is 2 minutes' walk to Glebe Point Road restaurants, shops and bus to the city. The recently converted old Harold Park Tramsheds is about a 10 minute walk with a range of good food destinations. The apartment is conveniently located near the Sydney Fish Markets and the Broadway Shopping Centre with supermarkets, movie theatres and video store. The Light Rail to the Casino, Darling Harbour and Sydney Terminal railway station is five minutes walk. The apartment is also only a few minutes' walk to the new Blackwattle Bay waterfront park.

Rates and Conditions

** We are sorry, but the apartment is not suitable for children for safety reasons.

The apartment is a non-smoking establishment. The minimum rental period is 7 nights.

The estimated cost is based on 2 adults sharing a bedroom. Additional charges may apply in other circumstances. A $500 deposit payable by EFT is required to confirm a booking with the balance payable 14 days prior to arrival.

Check in time is normally 2pm, with departure by 10am. These times may be varied by prior arrangement with the owners.

Excellent apartment

Lovely apartment, stunning view ! clean, well equipped (not enough towels for a long stay), ideal location. Quiet neighborhood full of cafes restaurants and shops. Easy to reach the city center and to Darling harbor short walk to the fish market. We wholeheartedly recommend the place We will definitely stay here when we are in town again, assuming it is available. Many thanks!

Wonderful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is great - close to lovely local cafes and restaurants on GPR; beautiful walks around Blackwattle Bay; a nice wander in to darling harbor or town (about 25 mins) if you are up for it, and the nearby fish markets are great. It is a secure and quiet building; having our own garage was great; and the apartment has gorgeous views from the balcony, especially at night. The owners are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and considerate - - they have even put an espresso machine in the kitchen capable of making lattes - perfect! :). We will definitely stay here when we are in town again, assuming it is available. Many thanks!

A perfect place to stay in Sydney. Very clean and quiet, lovely view from the balcony, comfortable beds, modern kitchen and everything you need is supplied. Located in a charming, leafy suburb with a direct and easy bus route to the centre. Lots of great ethnic restaurants nearby.Hand-feeding the rosellas on the balcony was a unique experience. We would definitely stay again.

Clean, well appointed apartment with stunning views of Sydney skyline, balcony and very comfy beds. Walking distance to shops and cafes of Glebe Pt Rd, the Fish Market and (provided you have reasonable level of fitness) Darling Harbour. Bus and light rail also highly convenient. We highly recommend it to others and will stay again if visiting Sydney. Be warned though there are several flights of stairs to negotiate if you have lots of large luggage (we always travel light).
