COVID UPDATE
As our borders are now open, we at Molly’s Chase would like to remind everyone that it’s extremely important that if you are unwell with respiratory (cold/flu like symptoms), please stay at home and seek medical advice.
We at Molly’s Chase are proud to be an Accredited Tourism Business as well as a COVIDClean Practicing business. We are also a COVID Vaxx Practicing Business.
OUR STAFF ARE FULLY VACCINATED and we prefer our visitors to be also vaccinated for safety of everyone.
We also offer a full refund for any cancellation relating to COVID restrictions, or alternatively, transfer to alternative mutually convenient nights at no additional charge.
Molly's Chase offers quality accommodation in 2 log cabins, tucked away in over 50 acres of natural, hilly bushland. Each cabin has two queen size bedrooms with spa bathroom and separate loo. There are separate living, dining and kitchen areas.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE NOW HAVE A SEPARATE HomeAway LISTING FOR OUR MOLLYFIES COTTAGE. Both cottages are identical and out of sight of each other, so offering peace and privacy. You can book either one, or book both cabins for a bigger group.
Mollycoddles cottage faces east with wonderful views over our valley and beyond, to Quarry Hill.
Mollyfies cottage faces west, with views towards our seasonal lake.
Cabin features include DTV/DVD, with a selection of CD's and DVD's. There's a combustion wood stove to cuddle up in front of, as well as reverse cycle aircon, free wifi, and outdoor barbecue area. There is a fully appointed kitchen with a microwave and gas cooktop, and all the crockery and cutlery you'll need. All bedding and towels are provided, as well as light breakfast provisions, which are left in the cabin on your arrival.
We have some lovely walking trails on the property, and the wildlife lovers won't be disappointed as we have several species of kangaroo and wallaby, as well as wild deer and magnificent bird life. If you're lucky, you might also see echidna and long necked turtles. For the bushwalker, the Spring Gully Conservation Park is nearby, at the end of Leighton Road.
We are handy for the amazing Riesling Trail, with around 60 kms of cycle/walking trail, which winds through the Clare Valley. Cycles can be hired from Cogwebs in Auburn or Clare Valley Cycles, and they can be delivered to your cabin.
Obviously, one of the main attractions for visitors is wine, but we now also have a number of local breweries too. With around 40 Cellar Doors, you can taste some of Australia's finest wines, with a good chance of meeting the Winemaker.
Our local hotel in Sevenhill was recently rated the best country dining venue in South Australia, with great food and the best range of Clare wines anywhere.
Clare township is a 15 minute drive away, and has a good range of shops, supermarkets and services.
Other attractions nearby include Mintaro, a National Trust listed historic village, the amazing Martindale Hall and the historic mining town of Burra.
Your 4 legged family aren't forgotten either. Well behaved and house trained dogs are welcome and are allowed to run off leash around the property. All we ask is that they stay off our soft furnishings, and are not left unattended in the cabin.
