Come and stay in your own private accommodation overlooking 68 acres with pockets of rainforest, a creek and a small waterfall. Stroll through the coffee rows or bushwalk to the creek. You may see visiting koalas, wallabies, echidna and platypus as well as an abundant bird life.

Enjoy a cup of our own plantation coffee.

We are only 11 mins by car from the historic village of Bangalow with its exclusive shops and restaurants and 15 mins from the magnificent beaches of Byron Bay. This position is a welcome retreat for travellers as we are an easy 5 mins drive from the Pacific Highway.

Your hosts are happy to share their local knowledge and their sons will point you in the direction of some of the best surfing beaches in the world.

Weekend getaway

Great location for a relaxing weekend, but still close enough to Byron and other coastal towns to explore. Weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed the hut and the surrounding area

A lovely restful break

Lovely stay. The cottage has everything you need. Great views…….we had the best sleeps and the host generously provided breakfast goodies.

Relaxing spot to enjoy the local area

The Hut is lovely and in such a peaceful location and we were so lucky to see a koala. Ouida welcomed us and provided some provisions for breakfast which we appreciated…their coffee is superb!

Beautiful views and koalas

Minus one star - bed loose/squeaky which interrupted sleep - suggest more firm frame or reinforce existing one. Otherwise would be five stars Ouida and family welcoming and friendly - nice local produce supplied for breakfast - beautiful place - where else can you see a wild koala when you're in the pool!?
