Fabulous house

  • 5 of 5

You will thoroughly enjoy this house.

Open all doors and windows, pour a drink and enjoy the peace. Walking distance to beach, what more could you ask for.

We enjoyed our stay at Cypress House. It has a good feel about it. It was quite cool so we didn't open the doors. Good outdoor shower and good lounging places. Relaxing in the bush setting.

Needed to be cleaned

  • 2 of 5

My wife wrote a good review because she's polite but this place was not cleaned very well at all. We were both unhappy and there were cobwebs everywhere, dirty windows, toilet floor is bare concrete, toilet rolls sitting on 10 year old magazines....If some effort was put into the cleaning it would be a lot nicer.

Beautiful house

  • 4 of 5

Great house close to Point Lookout Beaches in bush setting. Plusses - airy timber living area, outside shower and fire pit. Minus - no coffee plunger.

Unique and Peaceful Island Home

  • 5 of 5

I had the absolute pleasure of taking my partner over to North Stradbroke Island for a surprise weekend getaway. We were extremely fortunate to be able to enjoy spending our time at Cypress House and be able to absorb this amazing homes peacefulness. This home is truly unique and has a real warmth and energy to it. It was very easy to unwind and relax, and adjust to "Straddie Time" as the whole back of the house completely opens out to an uninterrupted bushland setting, which gives the home a real sense of 'being with nature'. The other distinctive feature to the home is its unique semi open-air bathroom and its impressive outdoor private shower (which we certainly made very good use of...) The home has a very private setting but is also close to the beach and other amenities which are within walking distance. Great memories have been made for us during our stay at Cypress House, and I would highly recommend this very special home to any couples looking for a unique relaxing getaway.
