Collins St House in Red Hill is the perfect place to gather family, friends or work colleagues in the beautiful Red Hill wine district.

6 air-conditioned Bedrooms including a study alcove with queen futon bed. Sleeping 14 people in nine beds. 3 bathrooms, one being a large powder room. 2 living areas. Free wifi, full linen supplied for bookings. We have a two night minimum on the weekends and accept single night bookings mid week.

The House is set up for entertaining, it has everything you would need to cater for many people, there is no need to bring a thing. We even have sharp knifes, good pots and frying pans! There are board games, a chess set, back gammon and plenty of toys for the kids.

We welcome guests that are happy to abide by the Mornington Peninsula Code of Conduct for guests staying at Holiday Houses on the Mornington Peninsula

Ensure that all cars are on the properties and not parked on the street: We have parking for five cars. We encourage car pooling.

No caravans or camper vans allowed for extra accommodation

Outdoor areas including out door decking and balconies are not to be used between 11pm and 7am

There is to be no unacceptable behaviour at the property at any time but particularly after 11pm. The council identifies unacceptable behaviour as aggressive behaviour, yelling, screaming and arguing. Cheering, clapping and singing are not allowed after 11pm.

Daily cleaning service available on request.

Early check in and late check out of 2pm offered whenever possible.

A ramp gives wheelchair access and easy access for prams.

A well behaved pet is welcome with prior arrangement with owner, backyard is fully fenced.

5 min drive from the house is the majority of the wonderful wineries this area has to offer.

10 mins to a number of beaches. Dromana and Rye down one side and Merricks, Balnarring and Flinders Beach down the other. Golf courses are a similar distance.

Please note there is a two night minimum for weekends, single nights bookings allowed during the week.

Three night minimum over the long weekends.

This house is not for groups that plan to be noisey, its a lovely place to gather to explore The Peninsula.

A great afternoon out:

Late lunch at Petit Tracteur (drive and leave the car there)

Walk 2 min to Green Olive.

Then walk back along the gravel path back to the house. Its a lovely walk, takes about 20 mins.

Collect the car in the morning :)

Beautiful property, spacious, cosy & quiet.

We had a wonderful stay! We had a big dinner & had plenty of room for 12 people. The place is beautifully set out & decorated & the fireplace makes it so cosy. It’s was the perfect place for the weekend with lots of people!

Perfect for a group of adults

We stayed at Collins Street House with our children and their partners. We had a lovely time.

There were eight of us and there were plenty of beds and plenty of space in the house. Even though the weather was cold, wet and windy which meant we spent a lot of time in the house, we didn't feel too crowded. The house is well stocked with everything you need to cook, eat, sleep and live (although we couldn't find a broom anywhere!).

The house was cold when we first arrived but it didn't take long to heat up as there are plenty of ways to heat up the house - split systems in the main area and in the bedrooms, several portable heaters and an open fire with plenty of firewood. The local powergrid failed on two mornings, not due to anything in the house but due to trees coming down on powerlines in the wind. Thank goodness for the fireplace which kept the living areas warm.

The beds and furniture are very comfortable, as is the whole house. Kim is a good communicator and host. We highly recommend Collins Street House.

Nice little cabin with great fireplace and plenty of room

We had a great weekend there for my wife’s 30th. Slept 10 of us comfortably, bathroom situation probably worked fine but anymore people it might be a hassle. Overall loved it here, would stay again!
