The 2nd house from beautiful Brighton Beach, this roomy house has it all. "Bright Seas Maisonette", is just a short stroll along the Esplanade to the Jetty, Surf Lifesaving Club, kid's seaside playground, cafes, restaurants and shops. Safe and secure lawned back garden with deck for the little ones.
This spacious self-contained ground level house is attached to a large 2-storey Villa, circa 1930's, yet is completely self contained with its own entrance, private backyard, etc. Totally restored, with new kitchen, bathroom and laundry (washer & dryer). It has polished jarrah floors, high ceilings and lots of light with all white paintwork in a beach theme.
There are two bedrooms, one queen sized and the second with a double bed plus single bunk above, together with a trundle bed. (Sleeps 5) There is a rear deck with lawned garden/ backyard, clothesline and lidded Weber portable gas BBQ on castored stand.. This is a lovely, roomy home for entertaining, or just lazy days relaxing. Outdoor entertaining areas seat 6-8. (Please note, photograph of 2nd bedroom has not yet been changed.) The local tennis club is a couple of streets away.
The living room is spacious with big comfy couches, wall mounted Flat Screen TV, Foxtel, CD and DVD player, plus a dining setting. There is an eating "nook" in the kitchen that has full cooking facilities together with dishwasher and microwave. There are lots of interesting antique bits and pieces combined with modern couches and other decor.
Wi-Fi is free. The bathroom has a full bath/shower, vanity and toilet. The 2nd bedroom contains an iPod Docking Station for the kids.
There is a large, glassed front verandah, with outdoor setting for six, ideal for al fresco meals or a glass of wine and to watch the sunsets.
Jetty Road Brighton, a short walk away along the beachfront, has many trendy restaurants, cafes and shops to browse in, plus The Espy hotel and a famous fish & chip eatery. The Award Winning (best in S.A.) rebuilt in 2017-18, Foodland Supermarket and Brighton Shopping Centre Arcade is 2 streets away, within easy walking distance, on Brighton Road. The bus stop and electric train station (20 comfortable and quiet minutes to the City) are at the eastern end of Cambridge Terrace. There is no undercover car park, but parking is freely available in the street, with Glenelg 5 to 7 minutes and Westfield Marion + SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre 5 minutes away by car.
A $600 Security & Damage Deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Your Deposit/Bond will be returned to you upon departure by Home Away, provided no extra cleaning or damage is evident when we inspect upon leaving.
The property is meticulously cleaned before your arrival and after you leave.
We like to greet our guests upon arrival, but there is a KeySafe for after hours Arrivees.
There is a 4 night minimum stay requirement year round, except a 7 night minimum stay is required over the Christmas/January School Holidays.
