The Genie House is a fully self-contained, reverse cycle air-conditioned guesthouse with free Wifi, Netflix & Stan within a 10 minute stroll to town centre, cafes & shops. Complimentary bottle of bubbles & fresh flowers on arrival. Quiet neighbourhood. Chilled atmosphere. Bay Grocer Convenience Store/deli within 50 metres of the Genie House - coffee & takeaways plus fresh fruit & vegetables. Our new local Jonson Lane precinct now offers a Vietnamese/Asian restaurant (Light Years), Italian restaurant (Pixie) & the Heather Bar all with a 5 minute walk.

The Genie House follows HomeAway & government cleaning guidelines. Hand sanitiser & surface spray are provided as well.

The Genie House offers 3 bedrooms, all with reverse cycle air-conditioning - 2 queen beds / 2 king singles. The queen rooms have french doors opening onto a north-facing deck to catch the summer breezes. All bedrooms are furbished with white linen and towels. Cleaning is to a high standard & alcohol-based hand gel & surface spray is available.

You are welcome to use the wood fireplace in winter - first load of wood is complimentary. The sun-drenched atrium/dining area with bi-fold windows is a great place to enjoy meals or curl up on the daybed with a good book.

The Genie House does supply a highchair. Cots or bassinets (including linen) can be hired from Byron Bay Holiday Hire. The hire company will deliver and collect.

Features include polished timber floors throughout with rugs in main living areas / small laptop desk & lamp / reading chair with overhead lamp / open plan air-conditioned living area / air-conditioning & ceiling fans in all bedrooms / Webber BBQ / 55” TV in lounge / All 3 bedrooms have TV / Free Netflix, Stan & Wifi / beach umbrella & hot outdoor shower in rainforest garden setting. The Genie House does supply a highchair. Cots, bassinets, cot linen and baby supplies can be hired from Byron Bay Holiday Hire. The hire company will deliver and collect. Please bring beach towels.

Your hosts live in a house attached to the rear of the guesthouse that is separated by a 1.8 metre high private fence and has separate rear entry. The guesthouse has access to the front yard only. Your hosts are at hand if you have any problems or enquiries, however your privacy is respected at all times.

Please inform your hosts if you intend bringing your dog/s [limit 2 dogs only please]. House trained dogs are most welcome [Quiet dogs only - Please no incessant barkers]. The front yard is grassed, secure and fully fenced [fence height is 1.2 metres]. Your dog is welcome to sleep inside during the day and night. Please lock your dog in the house when you are not at home, especially if your dog tends to bark when left alone. Please bring your own pet bedding. Pet feeding bowls are supplied. Please limit dog hair loss on departure. Please collect dog waste in plastic bag and dispose of in red bin in courtyard.

The Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport is a 30 minute drive south of Byron Bay and Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast) is a 45 minute drive to the north. Regular shuttle bus services are available door to door to and from both airports. Google Byron Easy Bus or Xcede websites to pre-book.
