Location Situated on South Stradbroke Island offering peaceful seclusion - yet only a 40 minute ferry ride away from the Gold Coast's dazzling attractions - world famous theme parks, outlet brand shopping and Jupiters casino. Activities Take time to do absolutely nothing - or time to do everything! Leave traffic worries behind on the mainland as you cycle through our peaceful bush setting, swim in either of the two pools or 22 km surf beach, tennis, putt putt, table tennis, gym, sports centre, kids playground, nature walks or fishing, all without the crowds. Transport Island Transfers : Transfer to island is by passenger ferry, trip takes approximately 40 mins from Hope Island Marina. Cost is $30 per adult return, $15 per child return. Water taxi is available from Runaway Bay You can moor your boat at the marina but Couran Cove Island Resort have conditions and fees based on the size of your boat and weekend rates.
