4 Bedroom Heritage Houses
Once home to Cockatoo Island's medical officer and engineering manager, these two charmingly restored Federation style five-bedroom houses can each accommodate up to 12 people each.
4-bedroom house configuration (8 people):
Monday – Thursday: $595 per night (2 night or more stay rate)
Monday – Thursday: $795 per night (1 night stay rate)
Friday - Sunday: $895 per night (2 night minimum stay)
Weekly: $3,560 (7 days / 6 nights)
5-bedroom house configuration (9 people):
Monday – Thursday: $695 per night (2 night or more stay rate)

There are Two heritage homes built in 1915 for dockyard managers have been beautifully restored by the Harbour Trust. Tranquil rooms. Shaded wooden verandahs. Sublime water views. Heritage-planted gardens. And your own fascinating island to explore.
Perched on the island's upper plateau, our heritage houses are surrounded by lush gardens and feature breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and surrounds.

Each House and Apartment is fully furnished and self contained . A grass tennis court and audio tours of the island are available for hire. Boat berthing is available to those wishing to arrive by private vessel.
Getting to Cockatoo Island
Where is Cockatoo Island?
Cockatoo Island is the largest island in Sydney Harbour. It's located at the junction of the Parramatta and Lane Cove Rivers about 10 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay.
Getting to Cockatoo Island is part of the fun with regular Harbour City Ferries, daily services from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and other inner harbour wharfs.
Harbour City Ferries currently operates services to Cockatoo Island via the Balmain/Woolwich service and the Parramatta River service. Ferries depart from Circular Quay and other wharves. Some services also connect to Darling Harbour or to Woolwich and Balmain.

You can also get to Cockatoo Island by water taxi and private boat or barge, or on your own kayak.
Water Taxi service
The Cockatoo Island Marine Centre’s island shuttle service is specially designed for easy access to wharfs and pontoons around Cockatoo Island. The Cockatoo Island Shuttle can carry up to 12 passengers, which makes it ideal for a more personalised transport option to and from Cockatoo Island.

Private vessel berthing fee
All private vessels visiting Cockatoo Island must be moored at Camber Wharf (maximum vessel length 30ft, maximum vessel height is 10m).
Berthing fees can be paid at the Cockatoo Island Marine Centre, located at Camber Wharf. (please do not berth at Parramatta Wharf).
Camber Wharf is located on the Birchgrove side of the island.
