Located 7 min from Daylesford town centre, this secluded hideaway nestled in Porcupine Ridge offers views across a 5-acre undulating block overlooking a picturesque dam. Expansive decking areas enable alfresco dining under the afternoon sun and evening stars. On entering the retreat, you will be drawn to the warmth of a large open stone fireplace cradled in cathedral ceiling, creating an atmosphere of sheer comfort and relaxation. Colonial artefacts and paintings placed around this cosy log cabin set the mood for an authentic Australian bush experience. Magnificent evening views from decking areas are enhanced with illuminated lighting over the large dam.

This four-bedroom retreat with two bathrooms and two toilets consists of a main bedroom featuring a queen size bed, ensuite and large bay window. The 2nd bedroom features a double bed and large bay window. The 3rd bedroom features two single beds plus a rollout trundle. The 4th bedroom features a twin bunk bed, also with a rollout trundle. The retreat comfortably sleeps eight people, however additional guests can be accommodated via application to owner. All bedrooms have built-in robes.

The modern fully equipped kitchen facilitates easy meal preparation. An open stone fireplace frames the main living area with polished Tassie oak floorboards surrounded by cosy country checked lounge chairs and expansive bookshelves. A converted colonial wagon wheel dining table provides seating for up to eight. A 2nd separate living area is warmed by a Ned Kelly wood heater and TV.
