Dual Family Accommodations, popular for getaways of all kinds. Forming part of the precinct of the Main Homestead, Windradeen Quarters sits as a companion building to an operating shearing shed on a working sheep farm.

Quilts, wool/fleece blankets, and pillows are supplied for each bed. Year round, the tariff does not include linen or towels. For health reasons, the beds must not be slept in without linen. You shall need to supply your linen, towels and groceries.

*Please Note*

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings. The balance of your booking is payable twenty-eight (28) days prior to arrival. If you need to cancel your booking more than eight (8) weeks prior to your intended arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus a 10% cancellation fee, rated on the total booking. With less than four (4) weeks notice given, there is a no refund of deposit policy. By arrangement, however, we are most happy to offer a date change for your stay, taken at your convenience. With thanks.

• Our accommodation options have been priced equally per head. As such, you pay the same price per person for either the Guesthouse or the Quarters. At our discretion, where availability permits, we are more than happy to juggle bookings between the lodgings for the allowance of smaller or larger groups.

Regrettably, Windradeen Farm Stay cannot accommodate pets.

Situated on 25 acres, nestled amongst a 450 acre working sheep and cattle operation, Windradeen is a beautiful destination, and a delightful year-round choice when looking to escape a while to explore our beautiful Snowy Mountains Region.

Where are we located?

<> From Cooma, take the Snowy Mountains Highway.

<> Approximately 45kms from Cooma, the Adaminaby Golf Course shall be on your left.

<> Thereafter, take the first left into Bushrangers Hill Road. This is an unsealed, dirt road.

<> Windradeen is the first white post and rail fenced entrance (grid) on the right @ aproximately 1.5kms.

To know you are on the correct Road, you shall pass the Adaminaby Cemetery on your right. You shall then pass a property called "Happy Valley" on your left.

Windradeen is the following property on your right - after "Happy Valley".

Windradeen is the first property on your right on Bushrangers Hill Road, and is signed. It is well identified with the century old pines that line the driveway and the white post and rail fence. Cross the grid and follow our driveway through the main high gated entrance, passing a dam on your left as you approach the Main Homestead.

Unless otherwise arranged, please do stop at the circular garden in front of the Main Homestead to be greeted and directed to your accommodations.


Now, what do you do once you get here?


In winter, enjoy skiing at nearby Mt. Selwyn Snowfields - a friendly, fun place for the whole family, located approx. 45 minutes drive from Windradeen.

There are three (3) ski hire outlets 5 minutes away in the Adaminaby Township for all your skiing requirements.

Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and a vast array of shopping resources will be found in Cooma, however, the Adaminaby General store can supply your food requirements, and have a range of other holiday needs. If you wish to eat out there are two (2) cafe's, and Restaurants are in the Bowling Club and the Snow Goose Hotel.

The Adaminaby Post Office and News Agency have assorted newspapers, magazines and other reading material. Their Notice Board will provide you with up to date Snow, Ski and Road Reports from Mt. Selwyn.

There are two (2) Service Stations, the BP and the Ampol NRMA Service Station; both of which have snow chains for hire for your vehicle(s). Please be advised, It is a requirement that these be carried in all two (2) wheel drive vehicles over the winter period on our mountain roads.

Fishing galore! Be it fly fishing on the Murrumbidgee River (5km) or secluded mountain streams (surrounds). We are ideally located only 5kms from Lake Eucumbene for trawling or bank fishing. Yens Bay is one of the great fishing bays of the Snowy Mountains.

Local fishing Charters are available.

Bring your ski boat and enjoy some great waterskiing on Lake Eucumbene, the biggest man made lake in the Southern Hemisphere.

Spectacular bushwalking and sightseeing in the nearby Kosciuszko National Park. There are literally hundreds of unique places to explore.

Learn about the great Snowy Mountains Hydro Scheme, one of the great engineering feats of the last century.

Drive the great roads of the Snowy Mountains - hundreds of kilometers of scenic mountain roads await.

Whatever your delight, these magnificent Mountains shall not disappoint!
