This premium property boasts modern beach house qualities. The location is very peaceful and the property is extremely private surrounded by large established trees/bay view glimpses, tucked away in a quiet street letting you enjoy the tranquillity of Phillip Island at it's best. A short drive to Cowes centre (approx 4/5 min drive) & close to some of Victoria's best surf beaches. Including a large outdoor entertaining area on the second level with outdoor dining and BBQ. On the ground level is a powerful ultima endless relaxer spa (max 6 people) and outdoor shower adjacent to large landscaped garden. Lovely quiet and secluded bay beach a short stroll away.

Take the whole family & friends, including the dog (strictly outside only and removal of dog waste before exiting premises is a must) Including a large driveway and carport. The property is fully fenced with high fences and front gates.

On the north-east tip of Phillip Island, Rhyll is home to the beautiful wetlands and is also a focal point for life and sport on the water. The boat ramp, jetties, yacht and angling clubs and the sailing school allow individuals of all ages and levels of experience to access fishing and boating on the inlet. Trout fishing is also possible at the Rhyll Fishing Park.

If you are more inclined to remain dry, a winery, restaurants and cafes, and beautiful nature walks can be easily enjoyed in Rhyll.

Master bedroom: Contemporary Queen size bed with ultra modern en-suite and large shower. Master bedroom also leads out to upstairs deck/entertaining area.

Modern stylish kitchen with high quality appliances including large fridge, dishwasher, cook top/oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine. Basic condiments provided, eg espresso coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper.

Dining room: Contemporary 8 seat dining table.

Lounge room: Very spacious with 5 people modern couch/ also 3 seat modern couch. 50 inch Panasonic Vierra plasma & DVD. Couches which can convert to 2 singles.

Split system air-conditioner/heater.

Large upstairs deck: Outdoor entertaining area with table (seats 8) with 6 burner modern stainless steal barbeque. Bay views.

Bedroom 2: One Queen size bed, and one Double bed/couch/futon/divan(sleeps one person comfortably, 2 at a squeeze), one porta cot.

Bedroom 3: One Trilogy Bunk bed (One double and single bed).

Undercover Powerful Ultima Endless Relaxer Spa (max 6 people) and outdoor shower adjacent to large landscaped garden.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.

PETS: ​Pets are allowed but must have been mentioned during the booking correspondence. Specific information regarding the pet ie type/breed must be given. Please be aware that pets are to be left strictly outside only, if the cleaner finds evidence that pets have been inside (hair), there will be an extra cleaning charge. (please ignore this if you have not organised to bring your dog).

* Please make sure to pick up your dog's droppings. This is your responsibility to do this. Please use a plastic bag and dispose of the bag in the outside rubbish bin.

* If your dog is a compulsive barker or tends to bark more in unfamiliar environments you may want to consider ​leaving him/her at home. Dogs that bark relentlessly have been an issue with the neighbours in the past at this particular property. To ensure you have "quiet enjoyment" of the property the owners and management would prefer the peace be kept.

Calender & Pricing

Please note: If you are requesting a stay for Saturday & Sunday nights and the Friday night is available on the calendar then the tariff will be charged at the weekend rate.

Please note: the minimum cost for a two night stay (even during low season) throughout the year is $550.

The calendar is always accurate. If the days are not blocked out this generally means they are available, on certain occasions there may be a pending booking in the system that has not confirmed by means of a deposit or full payment.

Please refer to the rate column style pricing below as it is 100% accurate. Also please note that depending on your date selection at certain times of year there may be cheaper rates available so please send an enquiry email even if it appears out of your budget price.

We also require a bond in some cases which is fully refundable after your stay.

Weekend and Long weekend Stays may have a later checkout (subject to change) but must be confirmed with the property manager. Standard checkout is 10am.

Excellent Property

We stayed at Rhyll Retreat with 9 of us Fitting 4 adults and 5 children with plenty of room. The house was very spacious, clean, light and tidy upon arrival. We had an absolute ball even though the weather was cold and wet, we made many fun memories. Enjoyed the spa in the evening and great array of in house movies and games. Kitchen facilities were great and the coffee machine and juicer were a plus! Lovely aspect from all windows, great quiet location, wonderful breakfast in the sunshine (when it was out) on the back deck. Will definitely be back to the walks around the Rhyll inlet which were fantastic as well as lovely coffee spot on the corner.

Not what I had expected

Overall good location and a big house but felt that it seriously needs touch and care from the owners so it feels like a retreat. Touch up of paint and a proper fixer up needed. Place was a little bit dirty also. We didn't use the spa facilities as it was a bit dated for us big down side and the location of where it is is a big disappointment as I had booked this for the sole purpose to enjoy spa facilities.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. We would like to take this opportunity to advise our future guests that any cleaning issues have been addressed as this property. We have employed a new cleaning company that complies to a very vigorous checklist. We have had very positive feedback since the changes were made. The spa is on the ground level of the property and is advertised accordingly. It's a modern spa so we are quite confused as to why you could not enjoy the spa facilities. We have never had this complaint before and we were very surprised to read your negative comments. We would like to assure future guests that it's a great spa and everyone else who has stayed at the house loves it.
