Breathtakingly beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Perfect property with most beautiful view ever. Surrounded by grass, trees and lots of flowers, this property is quite the works. Interior might be slightly outdated, but there is so much to make up for that! Large living room with open kitchen, so you can see the view from wherever you are in the house. Two bathrooms, two big bedrooms and an actual fireplace. Although not being in the heart of Byron Bay, we loved being able to drive down to the many beaches and city center in the morning, and drive back at the end of the day, back to our oasis of calm, and watch the spectacular sunsets from there. Owner Laura lives on site but you would not even know. Very modest and gentle lady- great host. Would surely recommend ánd return!

A relaxing and restful stay

  • 5 of 5

We've just spent a lovely week at Bluewaterview. We were after a relaxing place to base ourselves the week before Xmas and this was the perfect stay. The house and view is stunning, and correspondence with Laura was hassel free. If you're wanting to be close to Byron but able to retreat to your own little sanctuary, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Stunning views by day, cosy fire by night

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely relaxing stay in July. The views from the house are stunning. Some of the decor is a little dated in places but it adds to the charm. The fireplace was the second highlight for us after the view, we had cosy nights with wine and cheese by the fire as it did get cooler by nightfall and all the firewood was provided. There were 2 excellent sized bedrooms with comfortable king beds and views, and 2 modern bathrooms.

Laura herself stayed onsite adjacent to the property but our privacy was respected. We only met her when we had trouble with the lock which was a bit stiff at one point!

I would have no hesitation recommending this property, and suitable for children to stay too. Our 3 year old had a ball and enjoyed collecting oranges and lemons from the fruiting trees on the property. It is only a short drive to Byron bay but you feel like you are miles away. We hope to return someday.

Absolutely beautiful

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved this place. It was very private and had stunning views - truly mind expanding. And the house has a lovely feel about it. And it's close to so many scenic drives and small towns. Amazing value for money. Thanks so much Laura.

IDEAL

  • 5 of 5

Everything about our stay at Bluewater View worked perfectly. It is a lovely, non-ostentatious, comfortable residence with stunning views and situated just far enough away and, at the same time, close enough to the "big smoke" of Byron Bay and Bangalow.

You'd be hard to please if Bluewater View doesn't do it for you.

Why laura chose Coorabell

Bluewater View offers a unique setting with a magnificent indescribable view of Byron's green hinterland to the blue ocean and north up the coast. A few minutes drive and you are at one of the many beach choices in Byron or the area. It is also centrally located to visit the several towns of Byron, Bangalow, Brunswick Heads or Mullumbimby in the Byron Bay shire. The house is appointed with comfortable and stylish furniture and a beautiful and interesting art collection from around the world. The garden is full of flowers, fruit and nut trees. Mango, macadamia, lime, lemon, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, are some of the choices. Flowering tropical plants abound in the garden. In winter there isn open fireplace in the living area. The life style is open plan with large glass doors sliding open onto the outdoor dining/sitting pavilion and the view. There is a wide variety of birdlife, soaring eagles at times, the occasional wallaby, water dragons, green frogs and a resident bush turkey.

What makes this house unique

Serene and inspiring, this is the perfect location to chill and recharge on holiday. Any season of the year it is a wonderful holiday. The view is truly uplifting.
