Each of the 4 ground level very spacious and fully self contained boutique appointed apartments (not motel style units) offer very spacious living areas (100 square metre - the size of a small house), fully screened and equipped with every convenience you need. Located close to the city and set at the end of a quiet no through street, adjacent to a nature reserve and parkland.

They are the ideal place to stay in Townsville for hospital visits or stays, extended work contracts or holidays close to everything. The equivalent standard & quality of our apartments elsewhere will cost from $255 per night.

Minimum 3 nights stay. We cannot accept one or two night stays at these prices we are as low as we can go and cannot go any lower - look at the savings! No hidden costs, we guarantee the same price all year with absolutely no increase in our tariff during any public, school or Christmas period holidays. The property is owned outright reason we are able to do so.

Please note: Adults plus young & teenager children are regarded as persons. We only charge $10 per person per night not the normal $20 required by other establishments. This is more than a bargain our two person rate is also reduced to a low of $140 it then follows as per below.

Longer stays over 7 nights are reduced even further, just enquire.

2 persons only $140 per night.....

3 persons only $150 per night.....

4 persons only $160 per night.....

5 persons only $170 per night.....

These are more than BARGAIN RATES the best deal in Townsville for what is provided.

Townsville 400 Supercars for 2018 set at a reduced rate regardless of numbers 3 beds can take up to 5 persons $190 per night for a 3 night special at $570 for Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2018. Please note : Supercars totally sold out.

Massage & Escort type services are not acceptable - the apartments are child & family orientated with children present. The apartments are not suitable for animals, they cannot be accepted.

Marcol Place offers a new level of quality and value at a very affordable price, a real home away from home.

Each apartment has 2 good-sized bedrooms a character of it's own tastefully furnished and decorated with quality beds and bedding. All have full size mirrored built-in wardrobes, bedside cupboards with lamps, clock radios plus a Stockade Anti-Theft Safe for personal effects. Provided free of charge Portacot, high chair, baby bath, children's cups plates and safe eating utensils.

The apartments can sleep up to maximum of 5 people and they have:

Bedroom 1 area is 13.5 square meters with a Queen Size Bed.

Bedroom 2 area is 17.5 square meters with a Queen Size and King Size Single Bed.

The modern spacious kitchens have every utensil and quality appliance you could possibly dream of, with all new stoves, Smeg microwaves and full size fridges. With our complements, enjoy a welcome selection of 3 varieties of gourmet coffees and 6 different quality teas.

Relax in the lounge room, watch TV on Hi-definition 42 inch LCD flat screen's, or use the DVD video player to watch your own personal library of 60 DVDs provided and magazines for your reading.

The apartments are fully air conditioned, with added ceiling fans, blinds and curtains. You have full laundry facilities with new washing machines and clothes dryers, (laundry liquid provided FREE) ironing boards and irons. Kitchen has more than everything provided with everything you expect in a bathroom including hair dryers .

Each apartment has its own remote controlled lock-up garage, finished in non-slip tiles (to double as an additional entertainment area or to store all your equipment). In the private paved rear garden courtyard you can relax outside and cook on your own personal Weber Q200 gas BBQ.

All the apartments are non-smoking with ash trays outside front and rear. Definitely No pets allowed, so no smells. The only noises heard are birds, Rainbow lorikeets, Ibis and curlews. In season we also have Brolga, Jabiru and Bowerbirds. It is very tranquil.

Marcol Place is just 2 klm's from Townsville Airport, 1 klm to Garbutt IGA Shopping Centre (with 13 shops & 4 ATM's), 3.5 klm's to the Rockpool at the Strand and ocean beach, 4.5 klm's to Townsville City Centre, 2.5 klms to Castletown Shopping World (with 143 shops), 1.5 klm's to 6 dine-in or takeaway food outlets. Local bus transport just around the corner - We do have it all.

From Townsville Airport:

Exit via Halifax St turn right into Meenan St left into Dearness St right into Hugh St, Marcol Place is 6th dwelling on left. Please note: We are located 2 klms away on the Eastern side of the North South runway and receive no airport generated noise.

Bruce Hwy North:

Becomes Woolcock St turn left into Hugh St cross railway line continue on Hugh St, Garbutt IGA Shopping World on left, turn left at Crauford St 1st left into Hugh St, Marcol Place is 6th dwelling on left.

Bruce Hwy South:

Cluden Racecourse on left side turn right into Stuart Drive crossing the Ross River turn left into Cross St turn left into Ross River Rd turn right into Gulliver St that becomes Hugh St continue past MacDonalds Restaurant on right cross railway line Garbutt IGA Shopping World on left, turn left at Crauford St 1st left into Hugh St, Marcol Place is 6th dwelling on left..

Flinders Hwy West:

Cluden Racecourse on right side continue ahead at traffic lights into Stuart Drive follow directions as above crossing the Ross River to Marcol Place

From Railway Station:

Comfort peace and position

Loved this place and its proximity to everything we wanted to see and do in Townsville.

Super comfortable beds and furniture and everything you could possibly want or need in the kitchen bathroom and laundry.

Extra pillows and towels and hand soap and laundry detergent etc.

A lovely bbq area and line outside for washing too.

Loved the fact it was in a quiet dead end street.

So well set up and deserves the 5 star rating and we will definitely stay again.

Lovely quiet unit

Our "African theme" unit had everything we needed for our stay and more. Hosts, Col & Margo have thought of lots of little 'extra' touches that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The unit is situated towards the end of a short 'dead end' street so it is very quiet. Easy access to the Strand; Castletown Shopping Centre and the Airport. The secured carport is a bit small to get a large 4wd into (but handy to put your shopping in) and it wasn't a problem to leave the car outside.
