Welcome to Phillip Island

One of Australia's premier tourist destinations, Phillip Island is just a two hour drive from Melbourne and is visited by upwards of 3.5 million domestic and international tourists each year. Make yourself at home in one of our tastefully decorated and superbly appointed holiday retreats - an affordable getaway for the whole family to enjoy.

Take time out from the city to relax. Meander along the gorgeous beaches, discover the breathtaking beauty of the Island’s rugged coastlines, walk or cycle the many kilometres of awesome tracks and hiking routes, dine out at some of the many tempting restaurants and wineries, enjoy one of the amazing Wildlife Coast Cruises, take a scenic flight in a light plane or helicopter, or check out some of the other exciting attractions the Island has to offer...

Phillip Island is the home of motor sport in Australia, and the racing circuit – widely regarded as the one of the most spectacular in the world - is set against a backdrop of rolling hills and sparkling seas. Motorcycle fans converge on the Island three times a year, for the Motorcycle Grand Prix, Super Bikes and the Island Classic, while four-wheel enthusiast can enjoy the V8 Supercars, Island Magic, Historic Cars and many other events. In fact, there is rarely a weekend throughout the year where there is not something happening at the track!

Phillip Island is also an exceptionally popular destination for swimming and surfing, with four of the Island’s favourite surf beaches – Smiths, Woolamai, Summerland and Cat Bay – recently becoming the first Victorian beaches to be added to the list of National Surfing Reserves. And with its three well placed boat ramps and an abundance of fish in its waters, the island is a fisherman’s dream. For those who take a less serious approach to fishing, a trip to the Rhyll Trout and Bush Tucker Farm is just the ticket!

There is a profusion of family fun to be had on the Island, with attractions such as Amaze'n'Things, with its 3D outdoor maze and theme park, The Chocolate Factory for the sweetest adventure on the Island, and the new Go-Kart track at Phillip Island Circuit, where rev-heads of all ages can buckle up like real race-car drivers and satisfy their need for speed! Or you can join the tens of thousands of travellers each year who enjoy a tour of the Churchill Island Heritage Farm - site of the first farm in Victoria - and see exhibitions of sheep shearing, cow milking, whip cracking and working dogs as well as many other farm activities.

But the real attraction of Phillip Island lies in its superabundance of native wildlife… Phillip Island is home to the largest colony of Little Penguins in the world, and Phillip Island Nature Parks hosts more than half a million visitors every year who watch several hundred Little Penguins emerge from the sea each day at dusk, and waddle up to their burrows. Meanwhile, the Koala Conservation Centre, where travellers can get up close and personal with these popular little bears on the Koala Treetop Walk, is a real crowd pleaser. At the Wildlife Park visitors can feed the kangaroos and wallabies, and observe at first hand over a hundred other species of Australian animals, while the 20,000 Australian fur seals at Seal Rocks make for a magical experience when viewed up close on a Wildlife Coast Cruise from Cowes Jetty.

The fact is, you'll never get bored on Philip Island! You can enjoy a game of golf, go surfing, go swimming, see the Penguin Parade, take the kids to the Chocolate Factory and Amaze’n’Things, visit the wildlife sanctuaries to feed the kangaroos and cuddle the koalas, feed the pelicans at San Remo Jetty, wander around the pretty townships of Cowes and San Remo, do some shopping, go ten-pin bowling, test your go-carting skills at the Track, take one of the numerous delightfully planned nature walks, visit nearby Churchill Island or just go fishing... Phillip Island has the lot!

What a gem!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying at Sea View Holidays. The property was extremely clean, stylish and very well stocked - the owner really thought of everything! Speaking of, Norma, the host, was very helpful (above and beyond!). Our family really enjoyed BBQ night on the balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean view. Great location - nice stroll to the beach/shops/cafes. Will definitely book again!

Charged for damages not done by us.

  • 1 of 5

The owner blamed us the damage of the property which wasn't us at all!!!

We stayed total of 10 people includes kids and babies. We enjoyed the stay and had fun. Treated this property respectfully and tidied up and even swept floor before we left.

After that, we got email to say the blind got broken and the toilet lid had a big crack. The blind was already broken & the toilet wasn't broken at all when we were there. After the negotiation with the owner, they took off the charge of the blind as they agreed it was existing. But still charged for the toilet seat for $110. We suspect the cleaner used it as a step to clean shower and broke it. Rather than owning up, they put on damage report for us to foot the bill. We had great time there however sadly the owner took our money for unreasonable reason.

We can't recommend this property at all.

Will definitely go again!

  • 5 of 5

The house is lovely, clean & gives a warm cozy feeling. My family loved it the moment they walked in. Mostly, Norma was amazing from the start with her responses & made us so at ease. The house is also conveniently located close to the beach & shops.

Top holiday house

  • 5 of 5

Our group had a great stay at Sea View. The house was spotlessly clean, the couch was super comfy, the view from the deck was wonderful, and it was great to find so many useful items in the pantry (even though I'd brought everything from salt to Gladwrap with me as some places have zilch). The owner was very friendly and helpful - I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic property

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay at Sea View Holidays San Remo. The property was immaculately clean and the house was very well stocked, that we forgot things and surprisingly found it there. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with every thing you can imagine

The property is in a fantastic location. It was an amazing view all around the house watching the sunset on the deck was a heart melting . The view of the sea from the lounge room and the balcony was fantastic. It was so lovely to barbecue on the balcony with that view. The house was so close to shops and attractions

walking to the beach could never been easier and for the kids to go to the park was very nice too.

The lovely owner Norma, answered all my queries promptly and she is such an easy person to deal with

Great accommodation at a very reasonable price. Would definitely love to stay again.

Well stocked, very comfortable, fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay at Sea View Holidays San Remo.

The property was immaculately clean and the house was very well stocked. There was plenty of seating room both upstairs and downs stairs, and the large smart TV was a fantastic luxury to have.

Being someone who loves to cook and entertain, I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with glassware, cookware etc.

The property is in a fantastic location. It was an amazing view driving down the road towards the house. The view of the inlet water from the lounge room and the balcony was fantastic. It was so lovely to barbecue on the balcony with that view ahead. The house is also VERY close to the south beach, foreshore and the main strip of shops.

The photos really don't do it any justice. The house looks modern and inviting and is very spacious. I was unsure about whether to bring my small dog or not, but the backyard was spacious and fully fenced.

The lovely owner Norma, answered all my queries promptly.

Great accommodation at a very reasonable price. Would definitely love to stay again.
