ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY!

Yeramba is a boutique Farmstay Retreat. Situated at the edge of the Wombat State forest only 10 minutes from Daylesford.
45 acres surrounded by rolling hills and amazing views.
If you are looking to unwind and relax amongst nature, bird life and friendly animals Yeramba is the place for you!
A peaceful rural setting away from the hustle and bustle!
Our 2 cottages are set within the landscaped gardens privately situated but close to our residence.

Children can run around and play safely on a large playground which includes swings, slide, trampoline and flying fox.

Yeramba has a small selection of friendly farm animals for the children to meet and interact with . Our goats are a delight to watch and feed. we have cows and calfs and chickens and collect our free range eggs for breakfast!
Our minnie ponies love attention and can be groomed with adult supervision.
Please note we do not have horses suitable for riding.
We can recommend Boomerang ranch and Hepburn Lagoon for trail riding.

OUTDOOR FIREPIT...... unwind with your favourite drink under the stars.
Toast some marsmellows or bake some local spud!
All firewood supplied......we are happy to light it for you!

YERAMBA RETREAT....................

Enjoy the serenity of the 2 person spa! for the grown ups. ( not recommended for children ) Sit and relax while overlooking the gardens and listening to bird song.
Please note...the spa is situated seperate from the cottages in an enclosed space with french doors overlooking the garden. Booking is essential for your own private time.
Maximum time per session is 2 hours.

BEHIND THE STABLE DOOR...............
A purpose built massage room is inside the stable complex.
You are free to book your own mobile massuer.

A large fully enclosed dog run with an under cover area for your 4 legged friend

We are happy for you to leave your dog in our care if you wish to go out exploring.

Your dog is also welcome indoors if well behaved and toilet trained.
Dog bedding is supplied or bring your own.

There is 15 acres of bush with walking tracks for your dog to have a run.
We do ask to keep your dog on a leash near our horses.

Relaxing Stay at Yeramba

Another relaxing stay at the wonderful Yeramba. The accommodation is well set up to let you wind down and stay at home to play board games, read a book or even watch your favourite TV streaming service. After a good rest there are plenty of things to do in nearby Daylesford or Creswick with plenty of food options. We love our walks around Lake Daylesford and Jubilee Lake. There are also some great round trip bush trails in the local area, however many are still closed due damage in bad weather. This is well compensated by walks around the bush land on the Yeramba farm, feeding the goats, alpaca, ponies and horse. Thanks again Anneke & David for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Relaxing Getaway

Our stay at Yeramba was very relaxing and made very comfortable by the wonderful hosts, Anneke & David. The accommodation is well equipped for a small family group. We were so happy to be able to feed the goats and ponies and take daily walks around the forrest on the farm. This is a great place for a family getaway, with all of the attractions, food venues and bush walks surrounding Daylesford only a short drive away. Thanks to Anneke & David for warmly welcoming us and making us feel at ease.

One of the best places we've stayed at!

Anneke was an incredible host, on arrival she took us on a tour of the farm. Being huge animal lovers being able to feed them and interact with them was the best. My 2 year old loved collecting eggs, feeding the doves and running around with ruby the dog. Everything has been thought of, toys and cot for kids, playground. You don't even need to leave to go anywhere as there's so much to do. We've stayed at many places of the years and this has to be our favourite. Thank you so much.

Perfect for a family stay way from the city

We had a fantastic stay at David and Anneke’s property. Is a perfect setting for a break from the city. My son really enjoyed collecting eggs and feeding the animals. He also enjoyed the basketball hoop, flying fox, spa. Anneke was always making sure my son took full advantage of all the things the farm stay had to offer which I really appreciated. We can’t wait to go back, next time we’ll bring our dog.

Anneke and David purchased this property with a long term vision. With only an old hay shed , no driveway or power or any other buildings they started a complete new lifestyle with 3 teenagers in tow.
Anneke was born in Holland and migrated with her parents in 1968. David was born in Australia but of Swiss Italian descend.
Anneke always had a love for all animals especially horses and dogs.
David grew up on a dairy farm and had a love for farming and cattle.
Yeramba was created with a strong passion for guests and children to enjoy some country living and experience the pleasures ainimals can bring.
Marcus their son and his wife Rizza have recently joined the Yeramba team and can offer assistance when necessary. Marcus has a passion for fishing and lighting fires!

Why they chose this property

Yeramba is situated in Blampied close to the Swiss Mountain Hotel. There was a strong Swiss Italian community during the gold mining days.
Anneke and David fell in love with the property after searching for 12 months.
It has a mix of cleared land as well as natural bush with amazing views.
The rich volcanic soil allows them to grow their own produce, grow beautiful cut flowers for the weddings they host and farm the animals they love.

What makes this property unique

YERAMBA means place of many gumtrees.
Our natural bushland has some very old large gumtrees and attract many birds and other wildlife. It is a daily corridor for Kangaroos and water birds drinking from our dam.
It is in a peacefull setting surrounded by great views. Situated on the edge of Kangaroo Hills and close to the Wombat State Forest.
We have amazing sunsets at night and many clear skies filled with the stars!
Anneke's love of European trees are planted around the property which attract many birds and produce beautiful autmn colours. Many bulbs are planted and in spring there are bright coloured carpets of daffodils.
