Nice Cabin for Last Minute Getaway
I was able to book this cabin on Monday for our stay beginning on Thursday. Everything was spotless and ready for us to check in. I was slightly disappointed to see that the "fireplace" shown on the listing was actually a wood stove insert (we really enjoy the ambiance of a real fireplace), but Susan, the owner, promised the insert would provide plenty of heat, and she was 100% correct. The hot tub was an added bonus for us, and has a very private feel. The cabin is in a neighborhood, but the lots are large and there is plenty of outdoor space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again. We did see the owner's car all 3 nights, but as promised, we never saw her, although we would've been happy to meet her. I'd like to add that the access code will have you humming a song from the '60s that only us baby boomers would recognize!

Lovely Cabin!
The cabin is nice and the best appointed VRBO that I have ever stayed at. The kitchen is extremely well stocked -- the host has paid attention to the details that make a visit so enjoyable. The location is a bit off the beaten path, away from the touristy crowds but still provides great access to restaurants and outdoor activities. We will book this one again!

Winter in Estes Park
Everyone enjoyed their stay at the property. The house was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Each bedroom had plenty of room and all the beds were comfy. The hot tube was a big plus! The location of the property was great. Easy to downtown and to Rocky Mountain. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful mountain home.

About the host

I have lived in Estes Park for 30 years and have owned my own business, "Jackson of All Trades" here for the last 11 years. I do landscaping, painting, home maintenance and improvements. I also do custom woodworking and the house is decorated with many of my pieces. I look forward to sharing my home with you and know you will enjoy your visit here.

Why they chose this property

I purchased this home from friends of mine because I have always loved this property and the charm the house has. I have kept the original cabin feel but have upgraded the house with new tile, paint and a walk-in shower upstairs. Wildlife abounds in the serene back yard which you can enjoy from the hot tub.

What makes this property unique

The covered front porch is a great place to sit and listen to the rain and see the view of the mountains. The property is a close walk to the river, great restaurants and Rocky Mountain National Park, yet is in a very secluded and quiet neighborhood.
