We love Little Rock! It's a BIG little city with lot's to do! I moved here from Houston & Loretta from Chicago. I invested in real estate over the years and added the Windsor Gardens asset in 2005. All 56 units were converted into condos. 32 units have been sold to individuals as private residences. The other 24 are for sale. We have one 3 bedroom unit as a model unit. Loretta & I love to travel & everywhere we go we always rent a condo because you get a "completely furnished home" for about the same price as a small hotel room. We always used VRBO to locate a condo. When we returned from our last trip to Manhattan in Aug'09 I decided to see how many condos were for rent here in Little Rock. To my suprise there were none. That's when we decided that visiters need the same opportunity here in Little Rock...a home for the price of a room! Windsor will be a nice cozy place for you to call home while visiting Litle Rock. We have been here a long time so we know all the great "hole-in-the-wall" restaruants that you can enjoy. Like Doe's where Bill Clinton loved to go eat tamales & all the best homemade burger shops. There are a few brewery/restaruants here in Little Rock as well and many award winning fine dinning establishments. When Loretta & I travel we always like to eat where the locals eat so that's why we have put together a guide that not only includes food, but entertainment to enhance your stay. We want you to enjoy your stay and as always...I truly appreciate your business!
Glenn purchased this condo in 2005
Windsor Gardens is a very quiet & secluded property located in Midtown Little Rock. When you enter through the security gate at 1601 N. Bryant Street, you'll be able to turn off the outside world and turn on a world of comfort & convenience. By combining the charm of French Colonial New Orleans with just a touch of ye olde Todor England. Windsor Gardens is conveniently located in Midtown near numerous shopping centers, malls, fine restaurants, medical facilities, banks, schools, major residential areas, recreational areas, clubs & churches. And even though you are near the major traffic arteries, making any part of the city just minutes away, Windsor Gardens maintains the intimacy privacy and the peace and quiet you desire and deserve.
Three of us spent a weekend sightseeing and visiting the Clinton Library. The condo was perfect... Quiet, comfortable and a great close-in location. And many really terrific restaurants in the area. We would certainly stay there again.
The Windsor Condo was just what we needed. Our family of 6 adults had to find a place to stay due to a family matter. The two rooms with beds were fantastic and the third with a futon was okay. I have tall members in my family, so the futon was a bit difficult; my suggestion would be to place another bed in that room while still having the desk/office feel to that room.
We enjoyed having a kitchen that was supplied with all the essentials. We were able to enjoy family meals without having to spend a lot of money. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the pans, b/c we could not use them due to the Teflon coming off of them and it's dangerous and unhealthy to cook with such pans.
Other than that, Glenn, the owner, was super helpful and patient in getting the condo reserved and ensuring we had everything we needed.
Thank you again!
The condo was great. It was clean, beautifully decorated and well cared for. Beds were very comfortable and sheets & blankets soft. Basics were stocked and easy to find & access if needed. Condo was on first floor and easy access to parking lot which made unloading vehicles very convenient as we could practically pull up to front door. Contacted owner about question concerning wi-fi. Even though it was Tksgvg evening he ret'd my call quickly and was able to address issue for immediate resolution. He was very friendly. We have saved his contact info and info on this unit as we will very likely book it again next year.
Our weekend could not have been more perfect. The condo was located near ULAR and other downtown Little Rock attractions. Owners also provided great information about shopping and restaurants in the area.
The owners were very attentive and quick to respond to questions.
The condo was very well maintained and comfortable. We had lots of room with 5 adults and 1 child.
I would stay there again!
Two families (4 adults) stayed for a long weekend. We were there to attend a Saturday Razorback football game. The location was excellent and only a short car ride to stadium.
Owner stopped by to check on us first day to make sure everything was okay. I found Glenn to be very easy to work with and as with all my other rentals through homeaway we were very pleased with our stay.
There was one small issue, not worth going in to detail about as Glenn reponded quickly to it.
I would stay there again if I ever return to Little Rock.
Super condo. It was clean, close to everything. Loretta and Glenn were wonderful to work with. It was comfortable and the pool was great. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this condo for any family. The photos didn't do it justice,it's actually even nicer! We loved that it was close to several state parks and lots of family activities. Thanks Loretta & Glen!
