Position Perfect - Richmond apartment is a one bedroom newly renovated, one bedroom apartment in the heart of Melbourne's best shopping district, Bridge Road.

The apartment has a queen bed in the bedroom and a double fold out sofa bed in the living area. The price for 2 guests is for Queen bed only. Sofa bed is $15 per night. Up to three guests can be accommodated or two adults and two children. Children are more than welcome and there is a great playground right across the road.

The apartment is equipped with a new kitchen, including oven, microwave, dishwasher and full sized fridge. It has a newly renovated bathroom with shower. Crisp, fresh, quality linen and towels are supplied for your use at no extra cost. There is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. A hairdryer is supplied along with a small amount of toiletries. The apartment is also equipped with an iron and ironing board.

The apartment is located on level one and has no wheel chair access. There are stairs leading up to the apartment.ABOUT THE AREA

Richmond is a prime shopping district with outlets and boutique stores at your door. Richmond has a multicultural vibe with various cuisines on offer, especially on Victoria street. Grocery stores are also right opposite the apartment and are open until midnight each night. Conveniently located also is a Chemist and the Epworth Hospital.

Chapel Street is a short tram ride away with lots of funky bars, cafes and shopping. A tram ride into the CBD is quick and easy and the tram stops are only 40 meters from the apartment. You will also find great playgrounds and parks just outside. Plus for the sporting enthusiast, Rod Laver Arena, the MCG and Melbourne's best sporting and entertainment complexes are just up the road.

INCLUSIONS

Included in the pricing for our apartment is fresh, clean, quality linen and towels. Parking is also included and if your vehicle is larger, we have a parking permit for you to park unrestricted in the area free of charge.

The newly renovated kitchen has all the utensils you need to have a comfortable stay. Free Wifi is also available. A porta cot and high chair are also available for hire.

Please let us know if you have young children so we can supply you with a small basket of toys for their use. This always helps keep them entertained and our guests have appreciated this very much. Such as Tarnie who said "The apartment was absolutely spotless, really impressive. It was in the most handy spot. Like a little haven in the middle of a busy area. Danielle was so lovely and helpful and organised the apartment to be ready a little earlier for me. The complimentary bottle of red was highly appreciated, and the thoughtfully provided toys were the highlight for my children. Everything was way beyond our expectations and very much appreciated. Next time we're visiting Melbourne, this is our home away from home. THANK YOU!”

Great location with everything you need!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the convenience of the supermarket, varied tram routes, loacal shopping and varied eateries. 15 minutes by tram to CBD was also a great bonus.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay especially having a functioning air conditioner. Only issue was setup of lounge sofa which prevented 2 people from watching TVs comfortably

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable

We had a forced stay in Melbourne due to cancelled sailings of the Spririt of Tasmania. We contacted Danielle from Position Perfect and she was really helpful in sorting out accommodation for us at their Armadale property after our first choice was not available for the period we needed. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and there were nice welcoming touches. We would certainly use Position Perfect again when we stay in Melbourne.

Convenient location in Melbourne

We stayed in Position Perfect Richmond as part of a family trip to Melbourne to watch the Hawks vs Crows match at the MCG. It was easy to find the apartment block, and there is some on-street car parking to give you time to sort out access to the apartment. Once inside the apartment complex, I had trouble locating the Position Perfect apartment - the apartments themselves don't have clear numbers on them. In the end I tried one of the screen doors and found the number of the apartment on the wooden door behind the screen door!

Car parking in the garage was tight, but our Mazda 6 just fit in with little clearance between the lattice at the front and the garage door at the back. Plenty of room to open the car doors though.

The apartment itself is small but well-appointed. There is enough room in the kitchen to prepare and cook a meal, with enough basic condiments and supplies in the cupboards (oil, salt, pepper, cling wrap, etc), and even room for a dishwasher. There is a Coles supermarket only a short walk away, which you can access via the 24 hour car park across Cameron St if you want to avoid the rain (which we had to a couple of times). The bathroom is squeezed in with the laundry, but it has everything you need (including a washing machine and dryer) and is recently renovated.

When we looked out the bedroom window, we thought that the apartments next door looked familiar. Turns out that the row of four cottages next door were renovated as part of The Block in 2011. On a walk around the block one morning I also found out that Molly Meldrum's Egyptian-themed home with St Kilda / Melbourne Storm murals on the front fence is one street away on Highett St.

The resident neighbours are quiet, and there is very little street noise when the doors are closed. Needless to say, it's a great spot to be staying in Melbourne - plenty of cafes and shops along Bridge Rd, a short walk to the MCG and CBD, as well as frequent trams along Bridge Rd.

Be aware that access to the apartment is up a flight of stairs. Our daughter had crutches at the time and was glad it was only one flight of stairs we had to climb.

We really enjoyed our stay at Position Perfect Richmond. It was great value for money, and we would recommend it to others that are travelling to Melbourne for watching a footy match or otherwise just visiting.
