There are fantastic walking and riding tracks everywhere in the forest close to us.

We have created two walking trails from the farm. They are well sign posted and include the historic spur line to the old mill.

You can walk to the historic Worsley Church "St Davids" (now de-consecrated) and also water skiing is permitted on nearby Stockton lake. You can kayak on Wellington dam and enjoy a coffee at the Wellington dam cafe and just over the other side of the dam is Wellington Forest cafe.

Great Stay at the Outcamp

  • 5 of 5

This was our third stay at the Outcamp, and we again thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The baby goats were just adorable and we had lots of fun coming along for a tractor ride and helping feed all the farm animals - thanks so much, Dale! Our younger daughter loves talking to the chickens and it is just great to be able to spend lots of time outdoors in such a serene setting. The stars were amazing on the first night, and the thunder and rain impressive on the second. Not to mention the proximity to many wonderful spots in the national park and beyond. We can't wait to come again in spring!

Lovely rural setting clean, cozy and a great place to leave the world behind for a while.

  • 4 of 5

Crystal Valley Outcamp is a lovely place to relax, contemplate, enjoy nature and get away for a while. It has all the basics - everything you need including the coffee plunger so you can drink your coffee and watch birds at the same time. Comfy bunks and lovely chooks to keep you company. It was very nice to cook up the eggplant and spinach straight from the garden and to take home a dozen fresh eggs. Thank you Dale :-)

Perfect weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned home after a magical weekend at the Crystal Valley Outcamp. We found the property clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. It's location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Wellington Region. Our 2 year old daughter loved seeing the animals in such close proximity, horses, sheep, chickens and cattle on the doorstep. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We are very much looking forward to returning and would definitely reccomend this property :)

Another wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

After first spending two nights at the Outcamp in September we couldn't wait to come back again. It was lovely meeting all the new calves and lambs and seeing what happy lives they lead with their mums and older siblings. The girls had great fun grilling sausages on sticks over the fire and strolling around the farm spotting all the animals. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Great affordable stay!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at Crystal Valley as I headed south on the Munda Biddi track. It's a very beautiful spot perched on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful farm full of animals. Very tranquil, scenic & perfect for my overnight stay. Affordable too! Would recommend to anyone travelling down that way.

Wonderful stay in the countryside

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time at the Outcamp. The farm is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and the accommodation very comfortable and clean. The girls (4 and 6) loved the animals and toasting marshmallows in the fire at night, the spring flowers and the stars were spectacular and there is much to explore in the area. Perfect for a weekend or longer to recharge the batteries away from life's usual distractions. We've just booked another stay in four weeks' time.
