About the property

Beach House on Seabrae at Pottsville Beach is a lovely relaxed 'Beach style' property (duplex) just a stones throw away from Pottsville's pristine unspoilt beach (patrolled during Xmas, Easter and September NSW school holidays period) and the well preserved Estuary perfect for swimming and fishing. Just a 1 minute walk from your front door to the top of the street and you have access to Pottsville Beach with Cudgera Creek (the Estuary) just another few minutes walk around the corner via the beach.


Back area is pet friendly and fenced

Pets may be considered and must be kept downstairs, please contact owner for details. A non refundable pet payment of $50.00 is required.


The MAIN bedroom boasts a solid timber Asian KING Size bed (linen is provided), air conditioning, polished timber floors, plantation style shutters opening onto a relaxing private balcony to capture the sea breeze and the sounds of the ocean.

The SECOND bedroom has a DOUBLE bed.

The THIRD bedroom includes a SINGLE bed with a pullout TRUNDLE. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and timber flooring which creates a cooling and relaxing atmosphere. A PORTABLE COT is also available for use.

The main bathroom is upstairs has been recently renovated (June 2015) and has a good size bath (and modern shower fittings). There is also a second renovated toilet and shower downstairs.

Fully tiled open plan living is downstairs and opens out to the undercover patio areas both front and back. There are 2 outdoor entertaining areas. The back has a BBQ, while the front has a timber deck where you can sit back and relax. Both outdoor areas have an outdoor table setting and there are 2x outdoor daybeds to choose from where you can lay back relax, listen to the ocean and enjoy the sea breeze.

The funky 80's kitchen is equipped with everything to make it feel like home including an Italian Mukka (cappuccino/latte making jug). But keep in mind there are some lovely restaurants to choose from that are just a 5-10 minute walk from your 'Beach House'.

A large separate laundry with a good size washing machine.

This holiday home has been set up with all the entertainment you would need when you're looking for a relaxing escape:

For the YOUNG GUESTS we provide a toy cupboard, library of books, dvds & loads of boards games along with children's bowls, plates & cups and a highchair. We guarantee if the kids are happy then you are.

There is a good size library of BOOKS for ADULTS to chose from to enjoy, and also a large selection of board games as well as a variety of DVD's and CD's to sit back and enjoy.

BIKES for adults and children and helmets - and there are some fantastic bike tracks to explore Pottsville on. One is at the nearby Wetlands (just located 1 minute bike ride from the house -behind the bowls club) and another one that goes all the way to Kingscliff if you're feeling energetic!

FISHING RODS and tackle,


GOLF CLUBS and more are also provided with your Beachhouse on Seabrae holiday package.

Large collection of BOARD GAMES. There's also enough toys to keep the children entertained for the whole holiday.


There is no wifi at the home, but if you need access during your stay there is wifi available at most of the local cafes and also at the Pottsville Neighbourhood Centre (during the weekdays)

Featured artwork by local artist is displayed through out the Beach House which adds character to this home.


Situated in the prime position in Pottsville with more than just the beach for your pleasure. Stroll along the beach to the Estuary great for swimming, snorkelling and fishing and especially a favourite for the kids. The bowls club and nature walks are only minutes from home. If you are feeling energetic there are tennis courts for hire

A couple of minutes stroll from the Beach House brings you to the ESTUARY with tidal flow, making it ideal for families to play safely in the water. Otherwise, across the road is Pottsville BEACH for those who want to surf or swim. During Christmas and Easter holidays it is a patrolled beach.

FISHING enthusiasts can find a paradise on Pottsville Beach, or for those who prefer fishing in a creek, Pottsville Estuary is a close walking distance from the house. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the local fish & tackle shop in Pottsville.

There are TWICE MONTHLY VILLAGE MARKETS with great bargains to be found (1st and 3rd Sunday) and locals to meet.

Gold Coast BUS LINK runs a regular service from the village (5 minute walk) to the Gold Coast and also long distance coach services run through Pottsville.


1 night stays maybe available for $250.00 subject to confirmation by property owner.

Extra linen can be provided for $30 - quality bed linen and bath towels and beach towels and small welcome pack for 2 people (1 bed) and $50 for 3-6 people.

(King size bed linen is provided free of charge)

* Check-in time is not before 2.00 - 3.00pm on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10.00am on departure date, unless prior arrangements have been made.*

* Confirmation of Check-in/check-out times and key collection/return procedure will be advised by Owner when full payment has been received

* Late checkout can be arranged up until 4.00pm for an extra $50 if there are no bookings on the checkout day.


* Can be made by the Stayz Online Payment System.

PLEASE NOTE THAT 2% credit card fee will be charged.

* Payment can also be made direct to Bank Account.

Owner will advise of account number with online inquiry

* Paypal is also accepted, all fees must be paid by guest and are additional to advised rental costs.

A deposit of 20 per cent of total rental costs ($300.00 minimum), must be received within 7 days after the booking is taken by Owner. Bookings are not confirmed unless and until this deposit is received.

* Payment in full must be received no later than 14 days prior to your arrival.

* Payments of the amount due must be received in Australian $ net of any bank or other transaction charges.

* Please ensure payments are made within the specified time limits or the booking will be cancelled automatically without notice or liability to you

PEAK SEASON - Xmas and New Year bookings

. Outstanding balance is due within 6 weeks of your arrival date.

* A bond payment $300 is required at the same time as the outstanding balance of your booking. It will be credited to your designated payment method once our property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar state to your arrival. We agree to ensure this occurs within 7 working days of your departure.

* Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Owner as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the bond. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared.


Low Season Cancellation Policy

During the low season, deposits will only be refunded if the cancellation is advised 14 days in advance.

High or Mid Season Cancellation Policy - school holidays, public holidays

Deposits for reservations made wholly or partially in high and mid seasons will only be refunded if you notify the owner of your cancellation at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

If you provide less than the required period of notice of cancellation, your deposit will only be refunded if the property is re-booked for the same period.

Smoking is NOT allowed inside the property.

Perfect Family Holiday House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach House on Seabrae. A perfect location, close to the beach and the estuary, close to shops and cafes. A delightful property and very spacious. Full of little special touches by the owners that made our stay just that little bit more enjoyable.

Pampered Pooch

Whilst we were made to feel very welcome in this beach themed home, our dog was made even more welcome with everything we could possibly need for it set out. Beach House on Seabrae is very much a home with detailed decor and many items left for us to use. Attention to detail is spot on. Our Telstra phone signal wasn't always reliable but not a big problem. Great place for a family to stay. We certainly enjoyed our hosts' hospitality.

Great family house

The Beach house at Seabrae is a clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated home with just about everything you could possibly need. The bikes and boogie boards were particularly welcomed by the kids and the adults loved the book collection. The estuary was a reasonably short walk. It's in a lovely peaceful area where you can hear the waves crashing from the front deck. It's a fantastic deal and we would definitely consider it again for future holidays.

Please note families with lots of kids or those who wish to swim in patrolled areas only that we were there 12-15 December and there were no lifeguards on Pottsville Beach. There was also no wifi in the house as far as we could tell and 3G service on phones was slow and patchy, and although it was kind of relaxing to go off the grid for a bit, I probably should have read / asked beforehand as I wanted to get some work done while there which I couldn't.

I will also ensure the following is noted in my description on Stayz: The Pottsville beach is patrolled during Christmas and Easter school holidays but only during the NSW school holiday period. (NSW commenced their holidays on the 17th December). For those who need wifi, you will find that most of the local cafes will provide wifi including the Pottsville Neighbourhood Centre during the week days. (having teenage children and my husband constantly on computers at home, we have resolved as a family not to have wifi in Pottsville as we find we enjoy the rare family quality time together - but in saying that, I totally understand when there is a demand for work to be done even on holidays). I hope we can accommodate you and your family again next time you wish to stay in our friendly seaside village at Pottsville Beach.

Lovely house in great location

The house is very comfortable and was spotlessly clean! We loved being able to walk into the village for dinner and the beautiful beach is just a short walk from the house. There was plenty of space and we found the house welcoming and relaxing. Thanks Sally and Michael.
