Comfortably furnished in true eclectic beach house style, you'll feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Park the car and there's no need to start it up again until its time to go home! Fling open the doors and windows to catch the breezes and feel safe in the knowledge of having full security. Relax with an afternoon drink in a couple of cape cod chairs and whatch the kids play, or enjoy a barbie out the back and dine under the mango tree - you get the picture. Coles is just around the corner for all your everyday needs. Not to mention more than a handful of coffee shops and quaint stores to browze. In fact, no one will need to be the designated driver ever no matter where you choose to dine in either Birtwill Street or along the esplanade! Enjoy the stroll to the patrolled beach or stretch it out a little further north so Fido can make friends where Stumers Creek meets the sea.

It was perfect for me, super close to everything and had a lovely retro chic charm to it. It was a vintage beach shack that encourages you to relax and go with a slower pace. Bed was super comfy, waking up to bird sounds and the ocean was gorgeous. Owners were great. Early August weather was divine. Fully enclosed garden was perfect for my dog.

What a great location! Relax in comfort and style.

We didn't want to leave and will most certainly be back- for a far longer stay!. Brilliant location, (you can hear the waves) private and perfectly casually appointed. 'Surf shack kitsch' and cool vintage style decoration that inspires you to simply relax and unwind. Modern appliances, comfortable beds and furniture. Everything you need is provided for a comfortable short or long stay. So close to the beaches, parks and shops yet far enough away from the holiday crowds and condos. A deceptively bigger property than you may expect. Great for kids/pets too; flat fully fenced yard front and back with ample outdoor seating and carefully curated chill out spaces. Owners are quick to respond and are super easy to deal with. Their eclectic style gives this surf shack such a warm and inviting feel. Excellent value for money. We consider ourselves lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at The Beach House on Sunrise.

The quintessential beach shack

This is not the Palazzo Versace. HOWEVER what it is, is a quintessential beach shack. Location is superb, walk to flagged beach (dog beach too), restaurants, coles etc. Everything you need is within a 100 meter walk of the property (e.g. we didn't use our car once whilst there). The house itself has been decorated beautifully and is very clean, comfortable and tidy. The renovations bring the property up to today's needs. The property also has a beautiful and welcoming feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable house with a superb location.

Great place for a holiday.

Comfortable well appointed house, loved the decor and the big screened doors front and back which allowed cooling flow through breezes. Great location, walk to Coles, cafes and beaches, both patrolled and dog friendly. Owner very pleasant to deal with. Overall a lovely holiday experience.
