Why KI Star Management chose Island Beach
Discovered Island Beach on Kangaroo Island a few years ago and fell in love with the place, so we built the Kangaroo Island Star Beach House and have spent the last 8 years enjoying the journey. Would love to share this special place with people who appreciate pristine, amazing places and homes with warmth, art, comforts, lovely surprising extras and peace. Have set up the home so you feel totally relaxed. The moment you stand on the deck and inhale the peaceful environment and listen to the ocean you will also fall in love with this location. This beach house is located on a dune, CLOSEST position to direct sandy access to the beach. I take care of our guests as individuals and provide lots of information before you get there.
What makes this House unique
Beautiful 180 degree views across the bay through the floor to ceiling windows which wrap around the front of the house. The house is built high on a dune so the views are even better. There's only 1 direct sandy access road to Island Beach and KI Star Beach House is located right on the corner of this. No need to walk through scrubland, just an easy stroll down a dune, onto the sandy access road and right onto Island Beach. Plus the house comes with kayaks to roll down onto the beach for your enjoyment. Peaceful location, set amongst nature, kangaroos around you and the ocean right in front.

Getaway KI
Beautiful property, spectacular views. Just be aware if unable to do stairs, this property has steep long stairs to enter property, tricky if not good with stairs

Lisa, it would be helpful for owners of rental properties in the future if 'special access' needs are communicated "in advance" before making the booking. This would help both the guests and owner ascertain if the property is suitable. Communication is the key for matching the needs of guests to what the property offers. We feel that the stairs at the back of the property are easily manageable with a landing pad half way. There is also access from the front and side of the house.

Amazing views
We totally enjoyed our 2 night stay. Everything was just wonderful. Clean spacious and tidy home nicely decorated with lots of welcoming touches.
We didn’t want for anything but the best part were the views as the living area was glass on 3 sides.

This is our second time staying at KI Star. Such a beautiful part of the island. The property is perfectly located, neat and tidy, our little family loved it.
Winter wonderland
We had a lovely time on Kangeroo Island and were happy to find this house which looks directly onto the beach.
The owner and caretaker of the home couldn't have doen more to make our stay smooth and enjoyable and we had an absolutely excellent few days here.
The wildlife, right from the doorstep was astounding and we were so lucky with everything we saw.
Although it was winter, the skies were blue and the surrounding landscape was spectacular. We found people very helpful and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
