About this property

Sage Cottage South Gippsland

Located on 6 acres, with stunning views across the Strzelecki Ranges and across to the Prom.

Set in the green rolling hills of South Gippsland. There is abundant bird life to spot, Kookaburras, Black Cockatoos, Tawny Frogmouths and Wedge Tail Eagles.

At night, turn the lights out and enjoy the amazing array of stars in the sky, unaffected by town lights, while toasting a marshmallow on an open fire (fire restrictions permitting).

Have fun on a wombat spotting expedition; hint there's one underneath the house. Count the different frog calls as you go for walks.

Many areas to visit: Agnes falls, Wilsons Prom, Port Welshpool, McLoughlins beach, Port Albert, Foster, Fish Creek, Toora or surf beaches at Sandy Point/Warratah Bay.

Enjoy a coffee with home made German deserts at the cafe in Toora, or a drive to Port Welshpool and walking along the newly reconstructed, 800 metre long jetty.

There is plenty to do, or just sit and enjoy the country peace and quiet.

Cottage: Three bedroom, one with King size latex mattress, one Queen sized latex topped mattress and bunk room (sleeps up to 4 children). Note 8 is a tight squeeze, but 6 is comfortable. Cosy living room, with log burner and dining table. Board games, a large screen TV with DVD’s. Simple cosy kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry.

Toora North farm stay
Nice accommodation in a picturesque setting, kids enjoyed fuse ball provided and adults liked the DVD's. Please be advised that there is no rubbish collection so all waste needs to be taken with you. Accommodation is 20 mins from the main highway on narrow windy country road.

Very nicely situated cottage. The area is amazingly beautiful. The cottage has everything one needs for a relaxing holiday. The neighbours' cows and sheep are an added treat!

Farm House in Quiet Area
We enjoyed our stay, the home was basic accommodation 1950 standard but good beds and had everything we needed, seems like it's a work in progress though. It could do with a smoke alarm, an iron and ironing board and some more fly screens. I thought the price was a bit high for the standard of accommodation but we liked the area peace and quiet and enjoyed discovering the sights.

Lovely surrounds and plenty to do at the house
Our family with 5yo and 9yo had a great time staying here for 5 days. There was a huge range of games to play with and we spent most of the time at home just lazing about. Nearby we enjoyed Tank Adventures and Agnes Falls and wandering around Toora.
