Exactly what we'd hoped for!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here at the end of a month long tour of parts of Australia. We wanted to feel we were experiencing a little of 'real rural' Australia - and away from the tourist crowds of the nearby Great Ocean Road. And The Nook delivered. It's certainly rural and charming but also has all the modcons we wanted such as a dishwasher and aircon. Tastefully furnished. We asked Linda to organise breakfast for us, which was delicious. We visited as a couple but four could stay without a problem. The (relatively) nearby store is useful and stocks produce of a surprisingly high quality. Comfy and cosy - highly recommended.

Owner's Response: Martin we are absolutely delighted that The Nook met with your expectations and that you embraced this beautiful area. Such considerate guests and of course we always feel privileged with international guests! Hoping that one day you can both return.

Very cosy stay

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay - we got the fire going straight away and i was impressed with the oven - cooked a great roast! The bedroom was lovely and big with a comfy bed - slept well! Linda was very helpful with providing a couple of kitchen items! Thanks for a great stay! We also thought the Deans Marsh local store nearby was tops - best steak sambo for breakfast there in a very long time!

Great property!

  • 4 of 5

Many thanks to Linda and Greg. We had a lovely weekend at the nook. It was just so relaxing and peaceful. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a breakfast basket which would have allowed us to stay a little bit longer. I will definitely recommend this property to friends.
