Take a day out Beach Driving

At low tide take advantage of beach driving Rainbow Beach, check out the beautiful coloured sands, and at the point enjoy the nature made lake one side or surf the other for a different day out. From here you can take the Leisha track to the other side of Double Island Point, heading south. Not far south from here, your can take the Freshwater 4WD Track which brings you out 5kms out of Rainbow Beach on the main road in. The freshwater track is an alternative when the tides don't suit or are too high at Rainbow Beach, or simply to spend the day at the point, and travel home on the Freshwater track. Be certain to check with locals the state of the track as sometimes it can have deep sand. Otherwise, a great alternative to the beach, a nice scenic rainforest track.

Relax

Rainbow Beach is a relaxing small township, where you can wind down very quickly. Take a good book, and alternate between the beach and the private back yard on a sunlounger with a bush outlook.

Rainbow beach stay
A great little weekend getaway. Could easily stay longer. Great if you have a dog. Well fenced. Our dog was a little old and blind and not confident on the few steps off the deck but most would cope. Well supplied with essential stuff. Would recommend

The Swans Nest
This was a perfect little unit for our weekend getaway. The unit was clean and comfortable and was equipped with all that we needed for the weekend. Being pet-friendly we were able to take our border collie and were confident that she was always safe with the secure yard. It was very affordably priced and the owner/managers were always helpful with any communication. It was close enough to the centre of Rainbow Beach to walk to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Short stay at Rainbow Beach
"beach house" Well presented but with aircon. Lots pots pans spices. Had everything we needed. Outside showers at the front and one enclosed at the back. Handy to get all the sand off from the beach. Couple walks in the short time we were there. Sand blow reasonably hard. Great views on the Inskip Point walk and good paths through the native forest. All in all great house to stay at.

Brilliant (as usual)
Once again we have had a wonderful and relaxing time! The property is in the perfect location, the owners have made improvements every year we have come, it's neat, tidy and clean each visit! We're already looking forward to next year's annual visit! Highly recommend!

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the comfort of home away from home, an easy property to live in for small families, couples, 2 x couples so 4 adults, as well as your welcome furry friend. We as owners enjoy the beach with our french bulldog x pug, can walk for miles up the beach to have it to ourselves, not over crowded like coastal towns nearer to Brisbane, retaining that more remote untouched beach village appeal. Driving on the beach to double island point is a special excursion, and a beautiful spot to lay rest and enjoy the beauty and swimming for a few hours, dependent of the tides. Resting at the property has a unique national park bushland outlook, no neighbour one side. Enjoy the benefits of the large back deck area, and separate outdoor beach bathroom.
