In the district of Milcowie and built in 1901 this charming farmhouse includes 3 Queen sized bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, with single Trundle Bed. 2 Bathrooms including Full size Bath, 2 toilets, Lounge room, Sunroom , open plan Kitchen-Dining.

The farmhouse is only 2 hours drive from Adelaide and is nestled at the base of the Flinders Ranges, South Australia's longest chain of mountain ranges. It is ideally situated for families, couples or groups looking for a short break, those traveling further north or wishing to explore the wonders of the ever changing landscape, wineries and olive groves or the Flinders Ranges.

Stay at Minlacowie B&B

We stayed at this B&B over the weekend of our daughter's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had our little dog with us and she was able to have the run of the place. This was the reason we booked here in the first place and we do not regret it. Highly recommend.

a quiet retreat close to Port Pirie and Crystal Brook , has cats and kittens a slight problem if your dog dosent like cats, freshly layed eggs every morning bacon , tomatoes and bread that were supplied. charcoal BBQ i whipped up and left for the next people to enjoy, overall we had fun

It’s an impressive stay

It’s a century old house ，calm and interesting ，old and traditional ．Peter is a warm-hearted man，considerate to prepare fresh eggs ，bacon, bread, milk and wine and even juice for you！It would be better if the mattress and sanitary environment can be improved， Especially the flies，crazy😂😂

Suited our needs for a getaway

Needing a break, booked into the accommodation as we could bring our dogs. Extremely well stocked for breakfast and all the comforts of home. Lots of personal items in the house if you don’t mind sharing their lives with yours. Communication with Peter and Robyn was great. New area for us but found it limiting with things we like to do, dogs loved it though.

My name is Peter,
This is the Family property where i was born and raised.
I attended school both Primary and secondary schools Locally, and then went on to do, and complete a Trade in Whyalla before working the Farm for several years.
I joined the insurance industry in 1969 and went on to have a very successful insurance and then Financial planning career, expanding and moving to Adelaide in 1990 and selling the business in July 2003.

Why they chose this property

This Property was the family Home and has been passed down through the generations.
On moving to Norwood in 1990, I had the Property on long term rental ( which excluded me having regular access ) so I decided to turn in into a B&B in 2012.

What makes this property unique

The home on entry has a very relaxing and peaceful feel to it.
You will also experience some amazing sunrises and Sunsets with some tremendous Star Formations thrown in as a Bonus on Dark nights.
