All linen and bath towels are provided at no additional fee, and all beds are prepared with bedding, (linen) ready for our guests arrival.

Check in is anytime from 10.00am and check out is by 10.00am. (Normally check ins are from 2pm so giving our guests more beach time at the property).

You can just walk to the beach whenever you want it is so close and also to the nearby IGA shop/butcher and few restaurants which are just down the road.

Perfect for the guest who wants to be able to see the ocean from within the home, walk to the beach foreshore at anytime of the day and enjoy what the beachside has to offer. The beach is so close, just walk past 5 houses and you are at the foreshore..
There you will find a great stretch of beach which is ideal for small children to swim, as it is protected from boats driving past, sunbathe ,or just relax in the lawn areas, some shaded, covered with tall Norfolk pine trees.
Perfect for the scenic morning walks or bike rides on the wide footpaths provided that run along the foreshore, going west towards Penguin Island ferry jetty and east towards Warnbro Sound and its amazing sandy beaches. Along the way you will find various playgrounds some with BBQ facilities and gazebos close by great to have picnics.
Perfect for the boating enthusiasts who requires space to park their boats and also needs a boat ramp close by.
Perfect for the fisherman in you, who can fish from the nearby sandbank or shoreline or the few Jettys situated at various locations.
Perfect for the keen windsurfer who can just stroll down to the beach (the Pond) whenever the sea breeze comes in. They say we have the best spot for windsurfing and kiteboarding.

The location is central, being close to many beaches, Warnbro Sound, Shoalwater Marine Park, Penguin Island, Point Peron, Mangles Bay, Rockingham beach with its cafés and restaurants as well as many more attractions. ( Swim with the Dolphins or visit the Penguins on Penguin island)

Whilst in the house having breakfast, lunch or dinner or merely relaxing reading a book, watching television or looking at the many windsurfers flying past you will always have and enjoy the FANTASTIC OCEAN VIEWS OF SAFETY BAY BEACH.

From the 2nd level you will enjoy the main area which has reverse cycle air conditioning, an equipped kitchen, spacious meals area and family room (digital 116cm slimline lcd screen TV and DVD player) all of which have views of the Bay. The bathroom separate toilet and 3 bedrooms are also situated on this level.. Downstairs there are two other bedrooms as well as a laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities, which also includes an additional toilet and shower.There are 5 bedrooms and bedding for 12 guests which are made available depending on number of guests booking. Bedding can accommodate 4 couples and 4 singles.

Being so close to the beach you will experience fresh cool sea breezes in the afternoons.Sometimes very strong sea breezes. Reverse cycle air/heat conditioning has been installed upstairs in the kitchen, meals and family room area ready for the summer months mainly to cover the times we may have a week of consecutive overly hot days.

The accommodation has convenient undercover carport parking for boats, as well as cars, situated at the front which is attached to a front cottage with easy convenient access to the rear holiday accommodation.

The house is fully secured by fencing and gates, which make it very safe if you have children. If children are playing outside they can not get access to the (quiet) road without gates being opened. Also in the kitchen / meals / family room area which is situated on the second level of the home,there is a sliding door which closes the whole area off so children cannot get access to the stairs.

For the BOATING and FISHING enthusiasts there is a boat ramp and jetty just down the road, so close, so everything is easy to get to. The Bay is a great place to fish, King George Whitings, Sand Whitings, Mullets, Squids, Crabs to list a few....So bring down the boat and start having some fun...No Boat !!!!.. Don't worry the property is close to a sand bank where you can walk on to and the Warnbro Sound shoreline... Just bring a fishing rod and give it a go... You might be surprised what you catch... There are also jetties around the area to fish you might just want to watch the boats being launched from the nearby jetty.

Also for the WINDSURFING enthusiasts, they say we have the best windsurfing spot ever, (The Pond) , and we are virtually in front of it. You can see the Pond and windsurfers flying past from the meals and family room area upstairs, if you need more skills there is also a learning and hiring facility there at the beach.You don't need to drive to this spot, just walk there anytime a breeze comes in...

You will find barbecue facilities scattered around the beach foreshores, have a barbecue picnic at Waikiki beach where children can also happily play on the playgrounds nearby, maybe at Rockingham Beach if it is too breezy at Safety Bay.

Who wants to cook while on holidays ...Check out the cafes and restaurants in Rockingham which is only 10 minutes away by car as well as the takeaway Pizza, Thai, Mexican, Indian restaurants, fish and chip shop and the local IGA store just down the road from where you will be staying.

Safety Bay/ Rockingham is situated inbetween Fremantle and Mandurah, which are both approximately 20 to 30 minutes drive away. A day trip drive to Perth takes approximately 40 minutes.

SIGHTS TO SEE, ADVENTURES TO PERSUE;

PENGUIN ISLAND - is an 800 metre walk along a sand bar from Mersey Point and is an easy adventure at or near low tide. Penguin Island has some lovely walk trails and is home to Shoalwater Marine Park Information Centre. Raised boardwalks makes access to the island and walking around the Island easy for all ages. See the Fairy Penguins that hide in the beachside caves and under the boardwalks. Penguin Island is open to the public except during the winter months to allow for breeding. Regular ferry rides take you to Penguin Island as well as Seal island .

SEAL ISLAND- is where you will always find sea lions lazing around. Dolphins can often be seen swimming in the Bay.

POINT PERON - Is on the Northern tip of Shoalwater Bay and has some rugged cliffs a spectacular ocean outlook , a scenic beach and many walking trails through interesting natural bush.

GARDEN ISLAND - is North of Point Peron and is home to Australia's largest Royal Australian Navy Base including a home for submarines. The Southern section of Garden Island is not accessible to the general public but with boat access you can land on the Northern section of this picturesque island.

BEACH CLOSE TO ACCOMMODATION - you can take advantage of the closeness to the ocean the accommodation is and have early morning or afternnoon walks along the wide pathways on the foreshore. Maybe bring your bikes and go for regular bike rides. Or just being able to walk down to the beach to swim, sunbathe and relax whenever you want without having to drive there.

KAYAKING - at the POND

WINDSURFING- come and try out the best spot for windsurfing known as the POND, just walking distance from the house.( no need to drive)

ROCKINGHAM CAFE STRIP - try out the many cafes and restaurants .

MOTORPLEX KWINANA - for the car racing enthusiasts, Motorplex Kwinana is only 15 minutes by car away.

ROCKINGHAM GOLF CLUB -is just 5 minutes away by car. A public access golf course and nearby driving range.
