From the generous deck of this 3 bedroom cottage you can gaze out onto the lagoon at the bottom of the garden, listen to the waves breaking on the nearby beach, or step down to the water-side deck. You can read, watch the native ducks sim past, ponder meandering fish, or just drift off.
It's just a 2-minute level stroll to stunning South Rosedale beach. Great for a swim, a lazy read on the beach or a bit of beach or rock fishing.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, the front bedroom has a double, and the middle bedroom has two single beds.
To make sure you're comfortable, the house is appointed with a polished hardwood floor, reverse cycle heating and air-conditioning, satellite TV, HiFi with iPod dock, DVD player, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, washing machine and clothes dryer.

Some guest's comments:
"It has been a wonderful 10 days. Home away from home. Thank you for your generosity - it made our time here such a pleasure." Annie and Ian, Helen, Eyob and Bekele the dog. June 2016
"We've had such a relaxing time in this gorgeous, well-provisioned cottage that is so beautifully presented. Lots of fun feeding the birds and the visit from the possum was a highlight - it's not shy! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed many stunning days at Rosedale and Mckenzie's beach. Warmly recommend driving to Narooma and hiring bikes, and doing the ride to Dalmeny - followed by fish and chips at the waters edge at Tuross Head boat shed. Thank you Amanda and Warren." Georgia, Jan Harry and Milo, Jan 2016
"Had a lot of fun at this adorable cottage, everything we needed was here, good weather too! Both the cottage and the location were great! I loved going to the beach each morning and being woken by birds as opposed to traffic! Also fantastic book selection, I only wish I had more time to read/draw/explore. Thank you :)" Eugene, Marina, Sacha, Catherine, Sept 2015
"Great stay, very relaxing and peaceful cottage, terrific location near a beautiful beach. Thank you - highly recommend." Jenny, April 2012
"The beach house was a was a great place to stay. Everything you could ask for, and the dogs loved it! Really close to the beautiful beach, we had 4 adults and 2 dogs stay comfortably and would definitely recommend it." Anonymous,October 2010
When your dogs want to take a break from playing in the back yard (fenced on three sides but not along the lagoon), take them for a walk along the beach. No problem! Right up until the end of October dogs are allowed off-leash 24 hours a day along most of South Rosedale beach. In summer, dogs can run off-leash up to 9 am and after 5 pm. Check current times on the sign at the entry to the beach.
We have a large kennel set up on the deck just adjacent to the dining room window, although we are happy for small dogs to sleep inside, in their doggie baskets.
If you've got small kids, they could do a bit of fishing down on the little jetty at the bottom of the garden where you can easily keep an eye on them. Get the tiniest hooks you can find, a small float and sinker, put a tiny dab of prawn on the hook and let they try their luck. They can pick up small mullet and bream, admire them in a bucket for a while, and then put them back.
FOR PARENTS OF SMALL KIDS
The back garden slopes down to the lagoon at the bottom of the garden. As we love the water frontage, we have not fenced it off. But this means you will need to supervise your small kids at all times when they are out near the water. Unfortunately, because of hidden tree branches and snags, the lagoon is not safe to swim in so you will need to keep your children out of the lagoon.
