First time visitors to Adelaide will find this location hard to beat for convenience and tourism. The apartment is located in the City of Unley and has cosmopolitan living close by. It’s a real foodies mecca and located between vibrant King William Road and Goodwood Road where you have Sunday Farmer’s markets, 7 day grocery stores, cinemas, pubs, schools, playgrounds/parks, bakeries, Asian eateries, cafes, restaurants, Adelaide Showground and exclusive boutique fashion and homeware shopping. You can even have a haircut at the local Barber shop or Hairdresser, facial, massage or take yoga, Pilate’s class.
Walk to Adelaide City/Central Market in 30 – 40 minutes.
Alternatively public transport is nearby. Buy your 3 day metroCARD Visitor Pass (currently $26) at the corner newsagent and then use it on any Tram, Bus or Train. The bus to the city will be your quickest option but the Adelaide to Glenelg Tram is also nearby and is the best mode of direct transport. With the recent tram extensions it will now take you to Adelaide East End stopping near Ayers House which is only 3 minutes’ walk from the Garden of Unearthly Delights. The Tram will also take you direct to the Glenelg Beach Esplanade or direct to the Adelaide Showgrounds 3 stops Adelaide Central Market, Rundle Mall, Botanic Gardens, North Terrace , Adelaide Railway Station and leading all the way to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and passing the Adelaide Casino, The Festival Centre and Adelaide Cricket Grounds.
A large allocated car space is provided right next to the rear gate of the home (no other cars park next to you). Use your car for day trips to the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Goolwa, Victor Harbor or the Adelaide Hills which are easily accessed from the home and vary from 20 mins to Adelaide Hills to 1hr drive to Goolwa.
