Watch the waves wash onto the long sandy beach of Bridgewater Bay. Check on the kids playing in the sand from the comfort of your lounge or on the deck. From each room you can overlook Bridgewater Bay. Walk down 50m to the beach for a swim or walk.
Amoria Beach House, named after the rare and beautiful Amoria shell you can find on the beach if you are lucky, is architecturally designed and finished in 2013. The two bedroom house provides a very comfortable atmosphere with lots of European Oak, all European appliances, fully automatic coffee machine, built in fridge and freezer with ice maker, built in dishwasher, large LED TV & BluRay etc.
The house is located at the western end of the Great Ocean Road on the dead end Bridgewater Road leading to the spectacular blowholes on the Cape. The Great South West Walk passes through Cape Bridgewater along the beach and National and State Parks are nearby as well. "Seals by the Sea" run regular tours to the seal colony located on the Cape. The Bridgewater (freshwater) Lakes are located 10km away.
The small community is served only by the licenced beach café which serves great food and wine and has life entertainment on Sunday afternoons.
Cape Bridgewater's beach has been consistently rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, yet it is not widely known and is a quiet and unspoilt beach with surf live saving patrol in summer.
