**Note: the use of Tahoe Donner HOA facilities requires additional daily fees.

Ideal for groups and multiple families and couples, this roomy and bright cabin-style home offers you and your large group many shared amenities - like a pool, hot tub, and sauna, as well as a dock, golf, and tennis (daily fee required for HOA amenities) - not to mention the lovely mountain views off the upper deck.

Located in the Tahoe Donner subdivision in Truckee, you'll be close to two rec centers and a short drive from the shared docks. Several ski resorts are also nearby, and historic downtown Truckee is just six miles away. Please be aware that travel to this area may require four-wheel drive or traction devices in the winter.

This home's interior is spacious, rustic, and light, with an open floor plan, pitched wood plank ceilings, and lots of windows. Take it easy on the large, plush sectional sofa, and enjoy the natural light that filters in. Catch up on your reading, or watch a cable show or movie on the flatscreen TV and DVD player. In the winter months, stay warm with the wood stove. Bring your devices to stay plugged in or get a little work done with the complimentary WiFi, and listen to your favorite tunes on the stereo while you prepare dinner.

Create meals your guests will love in the open kitchen, which features standard appliances, including a gas stove and dishwasher. Enjoy the view while you slice and stir, thanks to the windows over the sink and large, sliding glass doors off the dining area, which comfortably seats eight. Take your time savoring your meal while you catch up, then make a night of it with the selection of games this home offers.

This five-bedroom, three-bath home accommodates up to 12 guests. Sink into the luxurious king mattress in the primary bedroom, which features a private bath, flatscreen TV, and deck access through sliding glass doors. Let the mountain breeze waft in during the evening, and greet each morning with a view of lush green and bright sun.

Your guests will have plenty of options with two queen beds, a twin-over-double bunk, and a twin bunk. For even more sleeping options, there's also a double futon in the game room, which features a full-size Ping-Pong table (not pictured), wood-burning stove, and sliding-door access to the outdoors. And with the other two full baths, everyone will have plenty of space and privacy. You'll also enjoy the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the home. There's also a high chair, toys, and a crib/playpen making this home ideal for families!

The Tahoe Donner HOA provides guests with lots of options for play, rest, and relaxation. In the summer, work in a few games on the on-site golf course. Play some tennis at the rec center, or take a swim at the pool. And when you want to get a little further from home, head into town and hang out with the locals at Coffeebar, Dark Horse Coffee, or Wild Cherries. Wander Main Street and check out the shops, then find your way to beautiful Donner Lake for sunbathing on one of the many public docks, swimming on the west-end sandy beach, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding.

In the winter, go snowshoeing, on the trail system in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, accessible right outside your door. Head over to the cross-country ski center and glide your way across powdery snow, or if downhill is your passion, you can use the HOA's amenities such as the ski hill, the hot tub, and the sauna. Further out, you won't be far from quality downhill at Sugar Bowl (under 13 miles away), Northstar (14 miles away), and Squaw Valley (16 miles away).

For your next North Tahoe mountain getaway, stay in this lovely, spacious vacation home and treat yourself and your guests to the ideal home away from home. Make your reservation today!

Winter Wonderland
Absolutely fantastic house. Ideal for family gathering. Super comfortable beds. Lower level with ping pong table and video gaming fantastic for kids. Only downside was unplowed (downhill) driveway and broken snow shovel onsite. Property manager provided a new snow shovel and we purchased a pick axe, pointed shovel and rock salt. Spent a couple of days clearing the driveway so we could get out of the garage. If you rent this house in winter, you will need and AWD vehicle to park onsite in the garage. Only one garage accessible due to excess snow accumulation.

great winter week
The owners should have a book about the house? When is garbage picked up.? The correct password for Wi-Fi. when is the driveway plowed? Where were the membership passes we could have used for the sledding park discount.

Not for Summer Stays
Yes, it was during a hot time in Truckee but the house was 82 degrees at 4:30 with the sun just streaming into all the front windows so it felt like 95 in the living room, dining and kitchen. The sun also allowed us to see all of the spider webs and stains on the counch pillows. The dead moth on the table. The couch was broken in the corner and the cushion would fall through the frame. The white towels in the master and the sheets downstairs were stained. The shower in the master drained so slowly that it took an hour after the shower finished. It is priced lower for a reason. Also we couldnt get the cable to work for a day. No TV the first night. Maintenance came in the a.m., brought more towels, fixed the cable but forgot to bring fans. I was big enough for 8 to sleep comfortably but it wasnt great because of all the other issues. It is also on a very busy road.

Great Place! I plan on returning!
We had such a great time at this beautiful home! There was so much room and space/beds to accommodate everyone. Listing said 3 bedroom when in fact, it’s 3 upstairs and 2 downstairs and 3 whole bathrooms!!!! The kids LOVED the downstairs game room (ping pong table and arcade game) and spent most of their time there. We loved the huge family table upstairs where there was so much seating! 2 balconies made it fun to hang out outside. Only downside, it was a little warm in the afternoon since there was no AC, but fans were provided. The kitchen pots/pans needed a little scrubbing before I would use them, but I appreciated there were so many available. Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend this place and I plan on returning!!!!!!! It was CLEAN, beds were comfy! Master bath newly remodeled and gorgeous. We had a great time! Thank you

Spacious home and great location
Eight of us stayed here for 3 nights during New Years weekend. We enjoyed the location, approx 1/2 mile from Tahoe Donner, and also close to the kid's tubing-snowplay area. Our three kids spent hours playing ping pong and digging sledding runs throughout the front yard in the evenings. It's a spacious, comfortable home with a great location on the plowed main road.
