The Oaks is a character filled weatherboard home offering the charm of yesteryear with modern conveniences. It has a large garden with a number of deciduous trees, so it is cool in summer with plenty of sunshine in winter. It is positioned in a quiet culdesac that looks like a country lane and yet it is just off a major road which connects into Eastlink. A couple of minute's walk from the front door will bring you to a bus stop which will take you either to the Croydon train station to get you to the city of Melbourne or in the other direction, to the Dandenongs, stopping at many tourist attractions.
It is an easy 10 minute walk to Churinga Village Shopping Centre and a short drive or longer walk to Croydon Village which features many eating places and boutique shopping.
The local golf course is a five minutes walk away. Enjoy a game of golf or a pleasant walk around the outside of the golf course.
The Oaks accommodates 6 people in three bedrooms. The master has a queen size bed while bedrooms two and three both have a single bed with a trundle. The trundle gives you the option of having a lower bed for young children, or two single beds set at the same height for older children and adults . All the bedrooms have robes, the master a walk in robe.
The house offers a full ensuite, a family bathroom and a separate toilet with basin.
The living room features a leather lounge suite plus two extra armchairs in front of the windows; an ideal spot for reading. While the house is kept cosy with ducted heating, there is also an open fireplace in the living room for ambiance.
Unlimited free wifi is provided for your convenience. Enjoy the LED/ LCD flat screen TV, DVD's, books, magazines and games. The stereo system allows you to play your own CD's or music from your ipod or other mobile device.
The kitchen is fully equipped and is adjacent to the dining area which opens to an outdoor decking area - a great spot to sit and have a cuppa overlooking the garden. Enjoy wandering around or just sitting under the trees in the fully fenced rear garden.
For families with a baby or toddler, a roomy portacot , highchair and stroller are available for your use.
