We really enjoyed our stay but it will be better if there are more light outside the garden.

The most Breathtaking Views!!

  • 5 of 5

This cosy little farmhouse looks onto a quaint garden spanning out toward the most amazing views that seem to go on forever! The blinds can't be drawn down, so the views are the first thing you wake up to in the morning, then in the evening you get to sleep with the lights of Melbourne sparkling in the distance.

If I'm going to voice a couple of minor gripes, it would be that the 'old world' shower head was fixed far too high... close to a couple of feet above my head. Not very practical when you're just over five foot in height! The other was that after reading the hosts instructions regarding the spa bath, we were put off by the idea of using it as you needed to plan ahead...ie; it took approximately 45 mins to fill and it was recommended we didn't use water anywhere else during the process. That said, the hosts instructions re how to use appliances etc were to be applauded!

I would highly recommend booking here, especially if you're an avid photographer or simply just appreciate being among picturesque surroundings.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Glad to hear it all went well. In regards to the curtains, they do shut. They are on a "click to release" pull cord arrangement. You have prompted us to include a note on how to use these. Thanks again for spending the time to include a review of us.

Beautiful beyond words

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute of our stay, so much so that my wife didn't get treatment for food poisoning until we were due to leave our minimoon. The property is just stunning, the fact you can view it from the sitting room, kitchen, bedroom & spa was the cherry on the cake to us. The lounge with the fire place was so perfectly put together, we didn't want to leave it. An exceptional property. Continental breakfast would have been nice but we really can't complain. All furniture was super comfortable too. It was the perfect property for our minimoon.

  • 5 of 5

We definitely enjoyed our stay, was amazing staying here, planning on coming back. The view was awesome, the house was beautiful and cozy, spa was nice, the horses we loved a lot. Going down there to visit them and pat them...so worth it. Would of loved it if we could of ride them (happy face) anyways overall.. we have no complaints. Thank you! :D

Beautiful views! Cosy place. Very well equipped and efficient.

However, some furniture in need of an update, and the lack of wifi are minor drawbacks.

Owner's Response: Hello and thanks for the great review. Also, you have reminded us to leave a note in the cottage guide to explain that we unfortunately do not have access to cable broadband up here yet, therefore cannot supply WiFi. I know, we cant believe that in this day and age this would still be the case. In regards to furniture, we have gone for several antiques to create the Old English feel we are after, but we always are reviewing things . Have a good trip back to Singapore Leanne

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

I booked the cottage for the eve of my daughter's wedding and the night of. On the eve, I stayed with my daughter and her maid of honour. It was just perfect for what was needed. After a chaotic few months, we were able to unwind, relax and slow right down. The room configuration was great for the day. We were able to have both bathrooms and bedrooms on the go, hair being done in the kitchen, makeup in the sitting room - plenty of light. The father of the bride was able to chat and then disappear for some peace every now and then in the lounge. The supplied continental breakfast and the full breakfast ordered were more than ample. Pillows were great with extras to choose from. In fact we did not need to ask for anything extra. Good kitchen. On the night of the wedding my mother and husband stayed. Once again it was a great place to sit on the deck and look at all the pretty lights.
