Great Spot close to 3 of our favorite places

  • 5 of 5

This is a great spot, you have 3 of our favorite places to visit for beer and wine tasting experiences all within walking distance. Kalleske Wines, Murray Street Vineyards & Greenock Brewers behind the corner house. Most people dont realise Kalleske have a back garden area were you can enjoy a red wine while nibbling on a $20 platter which is awesome value. Greenock Creek Tavern is also very popular for meals I would recommend booking. Have stayed at the Old Telegraph Station twice now and will be back again soon. :-)

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It sounds like you enjoyed a lot of what Greenock has to offer. Sitting at a winery and nibbling on a local platter is a great way to spend an afternoon. I look forward to you returning.

Gorgeous little place with everything we could want. Particularly loved the spa and the gorgeous outdoor entertainment area. Thank you for adding those electric blankets. We were toasty warm!

Owner's Response: Thank you. It can get quite cold at night in the Barossa in winter. It's a great time of year to visit though, with a lot of cellar doors having wood fires to huddle in front of with a glass of wine and platter of local food produce. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and stayed warm.

Lovely property with lots of extras

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time staying in Greenock and were very comfortable at the Old Telegraph Station. It was nice to have a whole house rather than just a motel room. With the little extras provided such as bathrobes, breakfast supplies, wine etc, it really had a home away from home feel. Highly recommended.

Owner's Response: I'm pleased to hear you had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the luxury of a whole house to yourselves. Feedback on the extras provided is always welcome. Any place with wine would feel like a home away from home for me!

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Telegraph station. The B&B was immaculate from the stocked fire wood supply to the comfy beds. It was a girls weekend and the B&B very comfortably slept the 3 of us including the single sofa bed already made up and a robe on every bed. Excellent location to all the valley has to offer, we highly recommend it. Also, the steak at the Greenock Pub (pretty much across the road) was delicious.
