The Apartment is an air-conditioned fully self-contained furnished Apartment with an area of 177m2. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 Balconies and 2 secure car parks. The main Bedroom and Living open onto the front balcony, while the second bedroom opens onto its open private balcony. The main bedroom has a queen bed, large mirrored walk through robe with a very spacious ensuite. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed with a large built in robe. While the 3rd bedroom has 2 king size single beds with a large built in robe. The living area has a leather lounge, large LCD TV and DVD. The second bathroom is large and has a bath. The kitchen has granite benches, 2-pak cupboards with stainless steel appliances. The Laundry has a washing machine and dryer with ironing facilities.

Beautiful location & plenty of space

Excellent location on Mackay Harbour with access to cafe's and restaurants at the marina. Beautiful view across the marina and Harbour Beach.

Unit is spacious and very well maintained. A great option for families with easy access to beaches and park with playground nearby.

Excellent communication with owners and other residents of the apartment building were very friendly.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was very spacious and clean and the water view from the front was amazing and we enjoyed our stay. On the down side the owner/manager was very erratic with his communication to us. We had to "chase him" to acknowledge our final payment and then again to gain the key code for entry. During our stay I texted him to let him know that the clothes dryer was broken and I asked him if it would be possible to be supplied with a clothes horse as there was not a clothes line for us to use. He didn't reply but we managed to dry clothes by hanging items on the furniture and cupboard doors. After we left Mackay and arrived at our next accommodation in Airlie Beach, I discovered that I had lost a pair of moderately expensive sandles. We phoned the owner/manager and he said that he would get back to us to let us know whether or not they had been left in the Mackay apartment; that was 2 weeks ago and we haven't heard back from him.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. We did receive multiple messages from you on many different issues and replied to what we considered needing replying to. It is not our procedure to acknowledge payments and it never will be. As you would be aware you will only be given the code for access the day before or on the day of arrival for security purposes. If something breaks it takes time to fix or replace and since you were only in the apartment for a short time I didn't think you would need to be washing and drying clothes on your first day. You must also remember this is not a managed unit with 24hr reception or service. It is a privately owned unit with owners that have other commitments. As far as lost sandles go, I cannot remember you contacting us about them. The cleaner has not advised us of anything being left in the apartment so you must have lost them somewhere else. I'm sure you would have followed up, like you did on everything else, on the sandles if they were important to you instead of making it a big thing on a comment.
