About the property

Perfect location for any Perth visitor. 5 Minute walk to the city, 5 Minute walk to Kings Park, and less than 2 minute walk the the Mount Hospital and Medical Centre, easy access to public transport with free buses in the city and its surrounds and stop outside the apartment block.

The Perth Convention Centre is across the road , a 2 minute walk away and the Bus station and train station a less than 5 minute walk down the road past the Convention Centre.

Family friendly privately owned and operated, the apartment is situated in the Mounts Bay Waters Apartment Hotel, you can enjoy the facilities of a 4 star hotel without paying full price. The apartment is bright and friendly and has spacious open plan living.

Apartment has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds, one bathroom, laundry, kitchen, spacious and comfortable dining and living area.

There is no daily service provided however if staying for more than 7 days, fresh linen will be provided on request.

Apartment facilities: Fully equipped kitchen; TV and Foxtel ; Free Wireless Internet ; Computer with double screens ; Outdoor dining area in a secure courtyard ; DVD library ; Air conditioning

Valuables safe in Main Bedroom and the use of swimming pools and on site gym.

Hotel facilities include restaurant, tennis court, swimming pool and gym. One secure undercover parking space is included. The restaurant provides a take away service to guests at the apartment block, and provides room service. If room service is required you will need to go to the restaurant order and pay for the meals and they will be delivered to the apartment when ready.

As this apartment is privately owned, the hotel reception is not used however the owners will meet you on site at check-in to hand over the keys and orientate you to the apartment and facilities available.

Early check in and late check out is available on request and the owners are happy, if the apartment is available to meet your early arrival and late check out requirements with no extra charge.

The daily rate of the apartment has been kept to a minimum by not providing a daily cleaning service. Guests are asked to leave the apartment in the same clean and tidy state as on arrival. Removal of any rubbish to the rubbish are in the basement is appreciated.

Best apartment in Perth

Such a comfy apartment with complete utilities eg fast internet, foxtel, cooking utensils. It was our home away frm home. Very close proximity to CBD with free bus just in front of the apartmnt

Comfortable and Convenient Place to Stay in Perth

My family (4 people) has a wonderful time to stay at Mounts Bay Apartment. Unlike other service apartments in CBD areas, this place had enough towels, toilet papers, cleaning stuff, and others. The owner, Deb is very generous and willing to help. Very close to the main street and King's Park. (10 mins walk). Thank you Deb!

perfect positioning for Perth entertainment centre

we needed somewhere to stay walking distance from the entertainment centre and big enough for 4 adults self catering. it was just what we needed. The owner advised the price was low as it was currently in the process of upgrading. we found the place very suitable as it was. The only problem was a bathroom window that could not be closed and was very cold. I am sure renovations will deal with this. we got an adequate apartment, free internet and free parking for a good price.

needs a good clean and update

Problems doing cooking as oven so old that no numbers or writing left, can't plan times or temperatures, didn't try dishwasher,it didn't look too good .

net curtains were so old and ripped.

Screen door had fallen off on patio door, patio needed a good sweep and clean as did the table and chairs out there, could be a good feature of apartment, but not used to it's best.

The curtains in the bed room and bathroom blinds falling apart.

Double wardrobe was mostly unusable as it was full of stuff

cobwebs on insides of windows..

Everywhere needed a good clean. We had to clean parts before using.

Difficult to rate

There are some great aspects to this property. The location and facilities of the apartment complex are really good. Free parking is a great bonus. Breakfast at the restaurant was reasonably priced and very generous. The beds and bed linen are fantastic, comfortable and of high quality. We slept really well! The kitchen was well stocked with pantry items and the couches were comfortable. I did, however, feel let down at the overall cleanliness. I had to clean the TV screen myself as there were so many smudge marks on it. The splash backs in the kitchen and bathroom hadn't been wiped down. There was no hand soap, hand towels or flannels provided either. The carpet needs cleaning & the tabletops need dusting. While the price is much lower than other apartments in the complex, I would still expect a higher level of attention to detail.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your feedback Margaret, toiletries are not included which is identified in the terms and conditions, that is one of the reasons the nightly rate is so low. The great location, free wifi and free parking are a further cost saving to guests. Great Stay

Stayed 2 nights after an 18 day cruise from Sydney and found the apartment to be totally as described, in a great location, bus stop out the front with free travel and really close to the city. Outstanding value and highly recommended.
