Located right on Swanston Street, this apartment is minutes walk to some of Melbourne's iconic tourist attractions and entertainment venues such as the Public Baths, Queen Victoria Market, the State Library and Melbourne Central and Queen Victoria shopping centres.

Easily accessible by public transport with trams on Swanston Street and a 5 minute walk from Melbourne Central railway station.

The apartment comprises of an open plan living and dining area with air-conditioning and heating, a fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry facilities, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is also access to the communal 5-star facilities including a fully fitted gym, indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, a tennis court, a theatre and outdoor BBQ! There is also a wall climbing gym just downstairs. Please note that the apartment does not include a car park.

Good Value

This place has its faults but overall is great value for its view and location. We stayed a week and spent the first day a little confused by a few things so hopefully I can help everybody out with these tips.

- Getting the key is going to be annoying. Ray White manage this property but the key is not at their office. After reading a few reviews I decided to call and confirm where to collect the key on the day despite receiving instructions to collect from Ray White via email. It turns out they're in a locker in the basement of a hotel lobby across from Southern Cross Station. You'll need to get the code from Ray White so if you haven't received an sms from them on the day make sure you call before they close at 5pm. If you've got luggage and the trams are busy the easiest way to get there is to hop on a train at Southern Cross and get off at Melbourne Central, which is only about a block and a half walk from the apartment. There's a bottle shop at both Southern Cross and Melbourne Central where you can pick up wine on the way because you'll probably deserve it after all the messing around to get there.

- The TV sound doesn't work. Sort of. If you want to watch free to air television you're going to have to watch it in silence and turn on captions because the sound will work for approximately 2 minutes before cutting out. BUT, if you bring a laptop & HDMI cable and have a Netflix, Foxtel etc subscription then you can connect it up and everything will work fine, including sound.

- Wifi is included but instructions aren't. The wifi passcode is located on the bottom of the modem (which is sitting on a speaker next to the tv) we connected 3 devices and watched Netflix without an issue.

- The décor looks like it was picked up on hard rubbish day. My husbands exact words were "I want to move that rug but am scared I'll find a blood stain underneath". This is a great little modern apartment, it's just the furnishings that let it down. But if it had a makeover they'd probably be able to increase the price so I'm ok with mismatched broke uni student look. The best thing to do is roll up the rugs and put them. along with the kmart cushions, under the spare bed. It will look a little sparse but it's an improvement. You'll probably need to give everything a quick wipe down or dust because I think it's left up to the last tenants to leave the apartment as they found it. But the linen is clean and serviced, the mattress comfortable and the view is incredible. If

Good apartment, poor management.

Difficult to collect the keys. No internet in the apartment regardless of what was advertised. No hot water for 2 of the days while we were there and was then told by Ray and White agent that it is not their fault, as they were unaware of maintenance being done in the building... even though maintenance was planned for months.

Great location, friendly lady to deal with through the real estate - was prompt with inquiries and concerns and happily let us keep our luggage at the office until we could check in. Place could do with some TLC but within walking distance to everything you need

A big disappointment

We had to pick up our keys from a place that was a 20 min walk away from the accomodation.

The apartment was ok- very tired looking.

Would have liked some milk in the fridge- just to make a cup of tea after our travels.

Incredible view and great location!

I thought this apartment was fantastic. It was such a great and convenient location, and only a short walk away from Bourke Street, Melbourne Central and various popular food places/shopping districts/tourist landmarks. Had easy access to trams and other public transport from the apartment. There was an Aldi right next door to the apartment which was extremely handy if we needed any necessities during our stay. The view is absolutely incredible from the lounge room and the main bedroom, and the balcony was a nice spot to sit and relax. I never had any issues with communicating with the real estate agents, they were easy to negotiate with, helpful and were prompt with any queries I had about the apartment. Only issue was that the TV/speakers did not work. It would be good if that was addressed but other than that, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay!

Home away from home

The place was great for our family of 5 although we had to supply our own cot. The view is amazing and the apartment is clean and well equiped. Tv has intermittent sound so some maintainence would be beneficial. I think a manual or guides on how to use the electronics would be useful. Also having some info on where to find places like grocers, chemist and malls would be great for tourists. Pool is on level 7 for those interested :)

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend to anyone wanting to save some $ While staying in the CBD
