Nice small house in the Gabba. Easy reach of brisbane center and other areaa. Close to shops and cafés at Corner Stone. Close to public transport (Burunda station) and motorway, whuch is convenient but also traffic noise. We loved the decking outside and the garden. Inside limited space for dining especially when with more than 2 guests. Excellent stay for two in spring/summer but would-be not be back in winter.
Well set up property with everything you could need. Great location. Hosts were very good communicators and easy to deal with. Very comfortable and close to Stones Corner restaurants and hotels, about 500mtr walk through the park. Really enjoyed our time there.
Fern Street Cottage was perfect for our group of three adults and one child. It was exactly as described, furnished with character and care, and close to cafes, shops and public transport. Plenty of books and toys, also an iron which we needed as we were attending a wedding. The only thing I recommend for winter guests is to ensure you have adequate warm clothes for the evening and early morning. This type of house is designed to cool down quickly after a hot day, but it also cools down quickly on a cold night! (Note: warm bedding is provided, no problems there.)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fern Street cottage. The location is convenient to the bus & train & to local shops & restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked & the house was clean, tidy & comfortable. An awesome place to stay in Brisbane.
We had a wonderful time ,the house was clean and well presented with all the little extras that make your stay comfortable. We spent most of our time on the back deck watching our two dogs play in the huge back yard .I love this place i wanted to stay longer but it was booked out .
We enjoyed our stay at Fern Street cottage, mostly because with extended family including small children, it was nice to have a house rather than an apartment. There is a good covered deck as well as a grassed back yard, with a laundry in the basement and even a clothesline! The house is small but with reasonably sized bedrooms and very well equipped. Only one bathroom with no separate toilet was a bit challenging with 4 adults & 2 children, but the convenience of the location with a lovely park across the road & walking distance to the supermarket & cafes made up for that.
