Situated in the heart of Coles Bay village with an unsurpassed view over the bay and to the Hazards mountains beyond, Dunwerkin offers everything you need for a luxury stay. This traditional Tassie shack has been superbly renovated to a very high standard. The comfortably furnished sitting room leads to a large open plan kitchen or out onto the spacious deck, the ideal place to enjoy a glass of local wine and some oysters from the marine farm as the sun sets. Beds are supremely comfortable. Richardsons Beach is a walk away and the house is only metres from the boat ramp and small beach at the front door.

The house is comfortably and stylishly furnished throughout.

A reverse cycle air conditioner provides both heating and cooling.

In the sitting room you’ll find a 3 seater couch, two extra comfortable recliners and two double beanbags. The latter are suitable for outdoor use on the deck as well.

A plasma TV, docking station and a CD player complete the picture.

The kitchen is equipped with quality appliances (microwave, large fridge, oven, hotplates, dishwasher, toaster and kettle) and has a view to die for.

Crockery, cutlery, glasses and Scanpan pots and pans are all new. Teas, instant coffee, ground coffee, hot chocolate and sugar are there for your use.

Bedrooms have king sized beds with quality bedding and clock radios. Both king sized and standard pillows are provided.

Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, vanity, hair dryer and toilet. Towels are large and luxurious.

Outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue make the front deck a great spot to eat in summer.

In the laundry there’s a washing machine, iron, ironing board and a clothes horse. A clothes line is outside.

The grassy backyard is large and offers a wood BBQ. In season guests are free to enjoy apples, lemons and fresh herbs straight from the garden.

There is ample off street parking and 2 bay driveway for the cars and a boat.

Dunwerkin is only 100 metres from Tombolo cafe and Coles Bay Convenience, the handy local shop and post office, where you can buy almost anything you may have forgotten.

Dunwerkin is a non smoking property.

Just what we needed.

Very well equipped accommodation in a fantastic location. I caught fish out the front in clear view of the house for breakfast. It was worth it for the view alone. The local store is right around the corner with everything we needed. Very happy.
