It is one of the four cottages on a 12 acre bushland retreat property at beautiful Sisters Beach on Tasmania's North West Coast. The property adjoins the Rocky Cape National Park and is within walking distance of the long, white beach. Children love the many wallabies that appear in the evening and there are many different species of birds. Hiking trails in the National Park lead to amazing coastal scenery, isolated beaches and small caves. Fishing, swimming, hiking, beach combing, sight-seeing or just relaxing are some of the activities which can be enjoyed as part of a wonderful holiday in Acacia Cottage, Sisters Beach in picturesque North Western Tasmania.
Other places to visit while staying in Acacia Cottage are the Tarkine Wilderness area, Stanley and the Nut, the Dip Falls, Marrawah or a boat cruise along the Arthur River. The pretty little seaside town of Wynyard is on the Inglis River and is only 20 minutes away. There is a lovely scenic drive around Table Cape and to the historic lighthouse as well as a look-out where there is a wonderful view looking east along the coast. Exploring the small city of Burnie (45 minutes away), the Guide Falls, Rhododendron Gardens, the Cheese Factory offers another day of sight-seeing while staying in Acacia Cottage.
