Perfect home away from home
The house was perfect for our very quick trip to NSW it was clean and comfortable and a lovely breakfast was provided. Our dogs were able to stay and had plenty of room to run around. The views are spectacular you can sit on the verandah and take a moment to enjoy the scenery. The hosts were really lovely people.

Fabulous retreat
Loved this property, chose because it's pet friendly but can't deny the views and ambience were outstanding! Well appointed with most of what you need for a short break, separate bedroom and bathroom, cosy lounge/dining, pool on the doorstep and jaw-dropping views of Lake Hume and surrounding countryside. Generous continental breakfast included, and good options to heat up our evening meal. Jacquie, our host, was warm and welcoming and so were her pups Elsa and Shadow. We loved this place!!

Rural Rest Stop
This is cosy clean accommodation in a quite rural location. 20 minutes off the main highway. Well worth the diversion. Well appointed lodgings with magnificent views of the valley and lake. Also has a pool, for warmer months. Highly recommended.

About the host

Hosted by Jacquie Merriman

Host profile image
I grew up on a rural grazing property in Western Victoria, lived in Melbourne for many years. Moved to Sydney and then married a sheep and cattle farmer at Good Hope, 20 mins from Yass.
We have been here all our married life and brought up our daughter and son here.
I enjoy travelling, snow skiing, the beach, golf, gardening, socializing with friends and running my Bed and Breakfast.

Why they chose this property

This is where we live.

What makes this property unique

Peace, quiet, the water views, the bird life, the pool and deck (like our own private resort), the space, the stars.
