About the property

Ground floor deco apartment with north facing enclosed balcony right on Robe Street next to The Esplanade and beachfront in trendy St Kilda. The secure apartment block is called "The Royal" and is a 50 metre walk to the tram stop into the city (15 min) and beyond: but why leave St Kilda when it is all here, sea baths, beach, cafes, bars, restaurants, Luna Park, bicycle paths, renowned Sunday Esplanade market, St Kilda festival, so much to do and see all year round.

Walk outside front entrance turn left and you are on The Esplanade with Sunday market , Palais theatre, Luna Park and adjacent beachfront, turn right and stroll 50 metres then turn right again and you are in foodies heaven on Acland Street with fantastic decadent European cake shops as well as cafes and supermarkets or catch a tram to the city area from the Esplanade and along lively Fitzroy Street. We are sure you will be entertained wherever you go.

Queensize bed in bedroom,mirrored wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, hallway leads to NEW fully equipped kitchen at rear of apartment for those who might like to stay indoors and cook rather than step outside to the cafes and restaurants. Follow hallway to front lounge area with full size lounge suite to laze away a wintry day in front of the 50 inch TV or step outside to the enclosed north facing balcony/patio to partake of the St Kilda atmosphere.

Self check in is available via keysafe. Walk up driveway to rear of building and turn right then right again along the fenceline towards the external stircase where you will see our rear door to apartment two as well as screen door. Great accomodation ideally located

What a great little apartment. I shouldn’t say little, it is quite spacious but it just had that cosy feel. Old style decor but very comfortable made it feel very homely. And the location is perfect. In the heart of all the good things St Kilda has to offer. Easy decision when visiting Melbourne. I look forward to our next stay. Oh, and great host.

We loved our stay at the royal. Comfortable beautiful house sized apartment in the most amazing of locations . Everything is at your fingertips . We highly recommend this gorgeous little Cosy stay.

St Kilda getaway at the Royal

Great location, close to the beach, shopping and transport.

The apartment was well appointed, clean and spacious. Sue was very responsive to emails and provided clear directions for finding and accessing the property. We’d be happy to stay again if wanting to revisit St Kilda.

St Kilda Stay for Family Wedding

We arrived late and on arrival felt the ambiance of this delightful place. Full of character, very comfortable and so close to Cafe strips and Wedding Venue. Loved being able to soak in a bath after sightseeing, close to tram stop. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cute retro apartment. Great Location.

Hard to find a better location in St Kilda if you want to be right next to the beach, esplanade, the buzz of Acland St Mall and Luna Park just 100-metres away, but quiet at night and with a sense of privacy. A comfy, retro apartment with good communication from Sue - the owner. It's certainly high on our list for a return visit when we're in Melbourne.
