Warreen farmstay is the perfect place to come and stay to experience the tranquility of country life or discover a whole range of outdoor activities such as:




4WD in the nearby national parks

Trout Fishing

Skiing in the winter

Swimming in the Tuross cascades in the summer

We are located 34 kilometres east of Cooma,1.5 hours from Canberrra,1.5 hours from the snowfields and 1.5 hours from the coast.

Warreen farmstay offers rustic accommodation in a beautiful rural setting of 130 acres. The accommodation is in renovated shearers quarters, we have 6 rooms, 2 with queen sized beds and ensuites and can be opened into family rooms if required. Another room with double bedand single bed and 3 twin rooms, each room has bedside tables with beside lamps, electric blankets. We have recently refurbished another room "The School Room" it was the original local school room. This room has a queen sized bed, fireplace,sofa and tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite it is a beautiful room overlooking the dam.

Children under 12 are $20 please mention the number of children when you enquire so the rates can be adjusted.

All linen, pillows and towels are provided. the bedrooms are in a seperate block from the lounge room/kitchen and shower block.

The kitchen and lounge room are located with extensive rural views. The kitchen has a large fridge / freezer, microwave, electric cooker, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils for up to 12 people.

The cosy sitting room has a combustion wood fire, and a TV and DVD player and stereo system.

The large fire pit outside the lounge room is magnificent to sit around in the evening watching the stars whilst cooking your barbecue, or organise with the homestead to have a special camp oven roast cooked for you.

The bathroom block contains the toilet and showers, as well as a washing machine.

The accommodation is self catering.

Our accommodation would suit families, individuals, couples or groups, base yourself at Warreen and discover a whole new meaning to relaxed country living, help hand feed the cattle, sheep, alpacas and Bruce the horse or head off to explore the area.

There are also powered and non powered sites with a camp kitchen containing sink, fridge and gas barbecue all under cover beside the fire pit. The powered sites are $35 per night and the non powered sites are $30 per night.

Please be aware we have no mobile coverage on the farm and no internet at the accommodation which adds to the peace and tranquility of the place.

Warreen Farmstay is Council and Rural bush Fire accredited.

If you arrive with more guests than you have paid for please advise us, otherwise if extra guests are found you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund, it is illegal.

Beautiful landscape, Farm setting, ambiance. The Very welcoming feeling after a big day at snow (Wood fire already on). All of us had a great time with unforgettable memories and kids had an awesome time with"Dave" and "Nikky". A real Farm Stay experience!

Just beautiful

I took my boys here for a break from city life and we all loved it. Beautiful property and wonderful hosts. A very peaceful location to chill out and enjoy a good book and a pretty view of the countryside.

That accommodation is situated on a working farm, it is a very relaxing spot for couples,families,singles or groups. We are near to 2 national parks for beautiful 4WDs, there are the local cascades and falls within a short drive. It is overall a very relaxing beautiful spot to come and enjoy nature at it's best.
