This beautiful brick cottage caters for 6-8 guests. Perfect for families, couples/ singles, small groups or corporate stays.


This gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom brick cottage has been converted from horse stables built in the 1800's. The stables previously belonged to the first governor of Victoria; Sir Charles Hotham.

The cottage has recently been renovated, including a brand new kitchen and bathroom.

The Coach House is a beautiful cottage with historical character, located in an incredible position on the border of Richmond and East Melbourne.

Nestled in a cul de sac between Hoddle street and the West Richmond Train Station, the cottage is surprisingly quiet and private; a peaceful oasis in a bustling area.

The street has a heritage overlay which ensures the beautiful historic character of the area is maintained.

It is a short stroll to the MCG and East Melbourne parks and gardens, with restaurants, CBD and nightlife all close by.


A stone's throw away is the West Richmond train station, as well as very easy access to trams, taxi's and buses.


Nearby is the cosmopolitan Bridge Road precinct; renowned for its fashionable cafes, restaurants, pubs, fashion and homewares shopping, including factory outlets.

It is a 5-10 minute walk to Melbourne's famous sporting and entertainment precinct including the MCG and Rod Laver Arena. Here you can watch an Australian Rules Football game, cricket match, the Australian Tennis Open or a music concert.

Walk to the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens or Botanical Gardens, and enjoy multiple children's playgrounds in the area.

Walk to all conveniences such as supermarkets, banks, post office and liquor stores

Walk or catch a train/tram into the City Centre

Walk to Victoria street, renowned for its delicious Asian cuisine.

Catch a tram along Victoria street to the Queen Victoria Market.

There is easy access to golf courses, tennis courts, basketball courts, St. Kilda beach and Luna Park, the Melbourne Zoo and the Spring Racing Carnival.


The stylish, modern cottage with a brand new kitchen and bathroom is maintained to an immaculate standard, complemented by beautiful furnishings and luxury linen and towels. The cottage is professionally cleaned between stays, and all linen is professionally laundered.

The cottage boasts open plan living/ dining/kitchen area, which opens out onto a peaceful courtyard with a BBQ, outdoor setting and parking space. There are dining facilities for 8 guests, fridge/ freezer, microwave, oven/ hob, toaster/kettle, flat screen television and DVD player. A bathroom on the ground floor has a shower over bath. Upstairs there is a second bathroom. Laundry facilities are available including washing machine/ dryer and ironing facilities.

The cottage has a split system heating/ air conditioning unit as well as wall heaters and ceiling fans. There is also a lovely open fire place in the living area for guests use.

The cottage offers unlimited high speed wifi, at the cost of $2 per day.

A portacot and high chair are available at no charge.

One secure car park is available. Car parking on the street for a second car can also be arranged for a small cost, if required.

Please note that the cottage is strictly non smoking indoors, and no pets. Strictly no parties or functions are allowed.
