My son and I stayed in this charming historical cottage for ten days after Christmas 2018. It is absolutely perfect, beautifully and tastefully restored, well appointed, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud, and the location? OMIGOD! You couldn't get a better location if you tried!
A stones throw from West Richmond station, walking distance from the supermarket, shops and cafes in Richmond, and the owners' customer service and friendliness is beyond reproach. We loved every minute of our stay. It's not often you find somewhere so close to the CBD and public transport, yet also has parking availability! You can't help but fall in love with THIS property. We LOVED every minute of our stay!
And New Year's Eve? You can see the fireworks display right from the front door. Walk a few steps to the end of the small cul-de-sac, and you can see EVERYTHING. It was absolutely AWESOME! Thank you so much. I hope this property is available for my next visit to Melbourne from Coffs Harbour to spend some quality time with my son. I am over the moon. I am SO glad I found YOUR property.
We enjoyed our stay it suited our needs excellently. So close to public transport
Character and quality
We loved the ambience of this house, and it was extremely well set-up and comfortable. We were so close to good cafes and city trams and trains but without city noise. We definitely plan on staying next time we visit Melbourne!
Fantastic location, short walk to Bridge Road for great shopping and food. The tram takes you directly into the city from Bridge Road or the train is at your doorstep. Celia was fantastic to deal with and very accommodating, with early check in and late check out. We would definitely stay here on our next visit to Melbourne.
Great location, beautiful house, will definitely stay again. Owner was accomodating at extremely short notice and great to deal with.
Great place to stay for a family or group
Great location with a lovely courtyard for outside dining. Close to the station, but still quiet. We easily fit seven including three adults, two big teenagers and two children. The kitchen allowed us to cater for the group easily and there is a lovely pub on the other side of the train tracks with possums in the beer garden.
Any needs were dealt with promptly - I couldn't fault the service we received from Celia.
