Relax and Reconnect
Welcome to the beautiful Bickley Brook Valley, just on the edge of the City, in the picturesque Perth Hills. Bickley Brook Cottage, located at the bottom of this tranquil valley overlooking the Bickley Brook, offers private and secluded accommodation, perfect for your relaxing stay. Adjoining the Banyowla Regional Park, the outlook from the cottage is to the Bickley Brook, which flows through the property during the cooler months and the rocky outcrops on the neighbouring hill.
The cottage is surrounded by natural bush and is regularly visited by wild kangaroos and a variety of colourful bird life.
There are numerous walking trails nearby, including the Katamoorda Hiking Trail, the Mason and Bird Heritage Trail and the Valley to Valley Hike Trail. A short drive away is the Lesmurdie Falls National Park and the Ellis Brook Valley, home of the 60 Foot Falls. Or, if you are feeling adventurous, you could hike there from the cottage.
Through the late winter and spring the valley is filled with a variety of wildflowers and you will find several books in the cottage to help you identify the flowers you have seen on your walks.
Accommodation is available for up to 6 people with exclusive use of the cottage, which includes a large log fire for cool winter nights, air-conditioning, self-catering and laundry facilities... your home away from home.
Only 15 minutes to the International and Domestic Airports and close to Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, Araluen Botanic Park and the Bickley Valley Wine Trail. Bickley Brook Cottage is an ideal base for bushwalking, mountain-biking (free bike hire is available to guests), sightseeing or for just relaxing and planning further adventures around our great state.

Bickley Brook Cottage is owned and run by David and Michelle White.
Michelle has lived here her whole life and wanted to share this beautiful valley with visitors from all over the world.
The property was part of a larger property purchased in the 1940's by Michelle's Grandfather, with the Cottage being built in the 1970's by Michelle's Uncle. This valley is so peaceful and unspoiled and holds a special place in our hearts.
Bickley Brook Cottage has a unique, peaceful setting, surrounded by bush with visiting wildlife and a beautiful outlook across the brook to a granite outcrop and natural bushland.
How wonderful to stay in accomodation that is clean and has every amenity you need, sleep in beds that are comfortable and a welcome basket filled with fruit, muffins and chocolate!! The surrounds are beautiful and there are many bush walks and wineries to visit. We will definitely be back to explore more of the local area.
This property was excellent. Extremely clean and comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly. As a variety of generations staying there was plenty of room for us all.
Thank you
What a lovely place for a relaxing getaway! Our sewing group of 5 spent 3 nights here and didn't want to leave !! So clean and well appointed, tastefully furnished and comfortable...not to mention Michelle's lovely welcome and the breakfast basket. It was peaceful with a beautiful outlook, surrounded by nature and kangaroos! I could imagine overseas visitors coming here straight from the airport...what a treat! All in all, a lovely getaway, thoroughly recommended!
