94 Highett is a beautiful early Victorian home built in the late 1880s. In lively inner city Richmond, an easy walk or convenient public transport to major sporting venues, great shopping, restaurants and the city centre.

All financial transactions for bookings are managed by Stayz (including the refundable security / damage bond). A booking can be confirmed by clicking the 'Request Booking' button. Once you have booked we will provide you with our contact details, the house address and a link to the online house manual which provides full details of transport, the local Richmond area and the house itself. The house manual provides extensive information on everything in the house.

The house features keyless locks so there is no need for key collection at check-in. Gone are the days of worrying about having to be at the house at and agreed time to collect keys. Prior to your stay we will provide you with your PIN codes to operate the keyless locks, and with the online house manual, you will have everything you need for self check-in. Best of all, you don't need to share a couple of keys between everyone staying at the house. Just give them the PIN code and they're set. We are always available via phone, text and email to answer any questions that you have.

The minimum stay is 2 nights unless there is a 1 or 2 day gap between bookings. A 1 night stay is available with a cleaning fee.

About the inner city location....

Richmond is located on the very fringe of Melbourne city centre and contains an eclectic mix of attractions, providing easy access to the best of what Melbourne has to offer.

Victoria St Richmond is Melbourne's 'little Siagon'. Lined with Vietnamese and Asian restaurants and shops, it provides the best (and most affordable) dining options. Bridge Road is best known for outlet shops and boutiques. The stores are constantly changing and there's always something new to a new bargain to be had. Church St provides direct 10 min tram ride to Chapel St South Yarra bringing you to the heart of Melbourne's boutique shopping precinct.

Richmond provides easy access to the MCG (AFL football, cricket and major sporting events), Melbourne Park (the Australian Open, concerts) and AAMI Park (soccer and rugby). It's a 15-20 minute walk to these major sporting venues from 94 a 5 minute tram ride from Bridge Road or Swan St.

You can walk through the magnificent Victorian gardens of Melbourne straight to the city centre. If your arms are loaded with shopping bargains on the way home, West Richmond train station (2 stops from the city) is 350m from the from door

Getting house rules

94 Highett is very close to trams and trains. West Richmond train station is a 350 metre walk down Highett St. This station is 5 minutes to the city stations including Southern Cross station where the Melbourne Airport bus terminal (skybus) can be found.

There are 3 tram lines all within 350 metres of 94 Highett. The Bridge Road and Victoria Street trams both provide easy access to the city within 5-10 minutes. The Church St tram takes you down to the famous Chapel St shopping precinct within 10 minutes.

Best of all, the city is only a 25 minute walk away.

2 cars may park off street and 1 permit provided for street parking.

House Rules:

94 Highett is fitted with quality furniture and fittings. Our linen and beds are of the highest hotel quality. Please treat what we have provided as items of the highest quality and luxury with respect so you and future guests can enjoy them. Damage to the house or contents will incur a cleaning, repair or replacement fee. This includes permanent or significant damage fixtures, fittings and contents beyond normal wear and tear. It also includes staining of linen, towelling, mattresses or carpets and marks on walls. Lost parking permits will also be charged a replacement fee.

House is amazing service not so much

We had a lovely stay at 94 Highett its a gorgeous house however after we left we were accused of stealing towels and charged $200. There were no towels laid out in several rooms when we arrived which when i tried to explain to the owners was shot down and then my emails ignored. Be warey

Owner's Response: We feel very unhappy about the way this situation has evolved but you are misrepresenting the facts. The missing towels were not the only reason you had $200 claimed from your bond. You also left the the house in poor condition with permanent stains on linen and some of the remaining towels. We sent you photos of these and you did not deny staining these. In addition, we made every attempt to contact you to ask for an explanation before the claim was made. We told you we had done a stock take and found missing towels and that other items were badly stained. While this type of situation is always regrettable we feel the charges were fair under the circumstances.

Great city holiday

We are five seniors who go away once a year for a holiday together. One of our friends has Parkinson's and has limited mobility. She was able to negotiate everything at 94 Highett Street and particularly appreciated the huge bathroom downstairs. The house is wonderful, with the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen. Everything was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Wifi was excellent, TVs in every room, nice radio in kitchen with selection of CDs. Very peaceful and relaxing. Really appreciated the double garage, the public transport links and the close proximity to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Richmond Hill Cafe and Larder. Communication was excellent at all times. Many thanks for providing us with absolutely everything we could have needed or wanted. It's a credit to you both.

We had a great weekend staying with friends in this perfectly set-up property. Great location, perfect outdoor area, very comfortable beds, coffee machine, TVs everywhere and plenty of bathrooms. Also very warm on those cold Melbourne nights! Will definitely be staying again next time we are in Melbourne. Thanks

Excellent property

This spectacular property was perfect for our girls weekend away catch up. They property is a great size and was very clean, tidy and well organised. We had a group of 10 and there was enough room for us to sit comfortably in the lounge room and to have meals around the large dining table. The bathroom was massive and the property was always warm with spilt systems throughout for extra warmth if needed. To get into the city it was only a $9 - 11 uber ride however there was plenty of places within walking distance to eat etc. The owners made everything easy and had very clear expectations of our stay - provided us with plenty of information which was great as very travelled from interstate. Would stay again - this property met every requirement.
